- Chateau de Chambord - You will discover the Hunting lodge built by King Francois I, it is the largest chateau and the most spectacular piece of architecture. You will be impressed by its 426 rooms and its 282 fireplaces. Your tour guide will show and explain it’s mind blowing double helix staircase, probably a Leonardo da Vinci creation. The forest in which it is in is a national game reserve.

Long Day but Excellent Tour! - The chateaus and winery tours were excellent. Learned so much on the winery tour. Chambord was a bit rushed. Given its size would have like to have spent more time there. Our driver/guide Ingrid was a delight and very knowledgeable. Also as an aside my husband forgot his eyeglasses in the car. At the end of a long day Ingrid took the time to call and meet up with him to return those. Thank you Ingrid!

October 2024: Great Experience! - This was an absolutely amazing tour! Our guide,Charline was incredibly personable and knowledgeable regarding the regions, the chateaux and the area. The lunch was one of the best meals we had during our two weeks in France!

Super fun - This was such a fun excursion. Marie was an excellent tour guide and so knowledgeable. Her detailed explanation of what we were seeing brought so much to the experience. We had an absolute blast!

Wonderful.day trip! - We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Our guide, Marie, was knowledgeable, entertaining and very kind. The chateaux were beautiful, and the history behind them was very interesting. And our tour and wine tasting at Cave Ambacia was wonderful. The wine was delicious and you could tell the owner/winemaker and sommelier were both passionate about their wine. 10/10 recommend!

A great overview of this region - The sights were fabulous as well as the tour guide. Our guide was knowledgeable, conscientious, and friendly. The cave wine tour is a must if you are interested in the method for wine tasting and wine identification.
It’s a long day but well worth it.

Exceeded expectations - The wine tasting was excellent. Learnt a lot about wine that I didn’t know with the sommelier/ winemaker sharing his knowledge in a way that was easily understood. Our guide Marie made the the visit the the 2 Chateaux easy and interesting with her background information and direction. Fully recommended.

Easy trip for single day of Loire - Lovely day out to explore key sites.
Chateaus were worthwhile.
Guide, Ingrid, was lovely. Great energy and good knowledge.
Lunch options a little limited but cheese was delicious and plentiful.
