Upon arrival at the reserve, meet your guide and game ranger, then hop into an open-air safari vehicle to embark on your game drive. Discover the origins of the nickname ‘Big Five’ - African elephants, Cape buffaloes, lions, leopards, and rhinos - as you stay alert for sightings of these majestic creatures, along with giraffes, hippos, and other wildlife. The Aquila Game Reserve is renowned for its rich birdlife, boasting over 170 bird species, including the endangered ‘Aquila’ Black Eagle, which inspired the reserve’s name. • It is compulsory that guests contact us 48 hours prior to tour departure to re-confirm pick up and drop off details. Should clients not make contact with us by 48 hours prior to travel date, the booking will automatically be cancelled. 7
