Aquila Safari provides an excellent chance to witness the Big 5 and enjoy the stunning African bush. Please be aware that the entrance ticket to the reserve is not part of the tour price. This ticket, approximately R1890 per person, must be purchased directly at the Aquila office on the morning of the safari. Participate in a 2-3 hour game drive in a 4x4 safari vehicle with an experienced ranger, offering the opportunity to see the Big 5: lions, leopards, rhinoceros, elephants, and buffalo. Additional wildlife sightings may include giraffes, zebras, and various antelopes. Following the game drive, savor a buffet lunch at the lodge featuring a range of local and international dishes, often made with fresh, local ingredients. Before the game drive, there may be a visit to a nearby vineyard or a curated wine-tasting experience, typically showcasing a selection of South African wines, including reds, whites, and possibly some sparkling varieties. The tour is made convenient with Cape Town hotel pickup and drop-off.
