To start, participants will visit a Turkish coffee shop to learn about the ideal way, place, and time to enjoy Turkish coffee. The operator will demonstrate how to prepare it, savor it using all five senses, perform fortune-telling with coffee grounds, and share the stories behind this tradition.

Next, a visit to a local Turkish delight store will offer insights into this deep-rooted tradition and more captivating stories.

After a brief stroll through the historic streets of Bodrum, the group will reach a modern herbalist’s shop. This expert, who combines ancestral knowledge with modern expertise, will showcase traditional Turkish coffee brewing methods and provide information on the herbs and spices of Anatolia, a key global center for natural healing resources. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about alternative treatment methods and learn about spices, herbal oils, pure soaps, herbal teas, and Turkish tea.
