- Postojna Cave - Upon arrival in Postojna, the driver will guide you to the cave entrance and provide tickets (included in the price). You will join a group led by a local cave guide in your preferred language. The cave is so vast that entry is via a small electric train, which takes about 15 minutes.
Following the train ride, a guided tour through the cave will offer fascinating insights and historical context about this Slovenian treasure. This portion of the tour lasts around one hour on a mostly flat surface.
After returning from the cave, there will be ample time to purchase souvenirs, enjoy a coffee or snack, and use the facilities before rejoining the driver/escort to visit the world’s best-preserved fairy tale cave castle, boasting over 800 years of history.

- All participants under the age of 18 must have at least one adult in the group
- Small group goes for the time of transportation only (up to 20). Since the caves are under national protection you will join a larger group guided by a local cave guide
- Pickup is from Trieste cruise terminal but is also available from any location within Trieste town limits. Please provide us pickup location at the time of booking reservation.
