Great tour. Elif was a... - Great tour. Elif was a great guide and knew a lot about the locations we visited. The day went by very smoothly and it seemed like we always got to the locations before other groups. There was no pressure to buy anything either at the very brief shopping stop, which is a common complaint among reviews for other similar tours.

Great Green Tour but Entry Fees are NOT INCLUDED!! - Our party of four enjoyed the Green Tour. Our guide, Hefee, was knowledgeable, professional, and personable. We were offered cold water at regular intervals throughout the tour, and the bus was cool, clean, and comfortable. The activities were a nice combination, but I have to admit that I was a little disappointed by the underground city--it's just a series of empty caves, albeit an astoundingly huge cave system carved into the rock--(the tour goes to the 8th level) with no artifacts, signage, or museum. Our guide provided the background, but it would have been much more impactful had there been a museum and/or some staging with artifacts. The real highlight of the day was the Selime Monastery, which featured some impressive frescoes. The stroll along the Ihlara River was an unexpected delight, in a huge, stunning canyon, but be aware that this is not a leisurely "stroll" but an hour-long brisk hike in what can be sweltering heat. But worth it if you're up for a hike! Overall, I would rate this tour as 10 out of 10, IF NOT FOR THE MISUNDERSTANDING we experienced on the day of the tour. NOTE: in the descriptive paragraph of this tour it says entry fees are included: ". . . with a Turkish kebab lunch and entrance tickets included." When arriving at the office, we were told that the entry fees are NOT included. If you read further, in the "what's included" section it IS clearly stated that the entry fees are NOT included, but this contradiction created some confusion and distress at the start of our tour, (I had only read the description and wasn't expecting to pay for entry fees) which put a damper on our experience. I wrote to the tour company, afterward, pointing out the misleading description and urging them to change it. I didn't think it was intentional--just an oversight, but I noticed they haven't corrected it and they were not helpful when I wrote to them about it. Just be aware that the entry fees must be paid in addition to the cost of the tour. Other than that, it was a fantastic tour and worth the money it cost.
