- Fairy Chimneys - Located on the Zelve road between the well-known town of Goreme and the traditional pottery-making town of Avanos, Pasabag, or Pasha’s Vineyard, features impressive cone-topped rock pillars called Fairy Chimneys. These formations stand majestically throughout the vineyard. Pasha was a significant officer during the Ottoman era when the region was captured. Pasabag is more commonly referred to as Monks Valley, named for the numerous monk refuges carved into the soft rock cones.
- Omurlu - Explore the pottery village of Avanos.
- Göreme Open Air Museum - The Goreme Open Air Museum is a rocky settlement that hosted a vibrant monastic life from the 4th to the 13th centuries A.D. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985, it is one of the most popular attractions in Cappadocia.
- Uchisar Castle - Uchisar Castle is the highest point in the region and the largest and most beautiful fairy chimney, offering unique panoramic views over Cappadocia. Located in Uchisar town, the rock castle served as a fortress for Roman and Byzantine armies. The area is also home to the most stunning fairy chimney formations.
- Pigeon Valley - Situated near Uchisar town, Pigeon Valley is named after the thousands of pigeon houses carved into the soft tufa since ancient times. It offers another breathtaking panoramic view over Cappadocia, along with the impressive views of the dovecotes. The valley is one of the most popular and renowned valleys in Cappadocia.
- Kaymakli Underground City - Built beneath the hill known as the Citadel of Kaymakli, the Kaymakli Underground City opened to visitors in 1964. The residents of Kaymakli (Enegup in Greek) village have constructed their homes around nearly one hundred tunnels of the underground city. The locals still use the most accessible areas in the tunnels as cellars, storage spaces, and stables, which they reach through their courtyards. The underground city features low, narrow, and sloping passages. While it consists of 8 floors below ground, only 4 are open to the public today, with spaces organized around ventilation shafts.
