North Cappadocia

Devrent Valley - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Istanbul early in the morning and driven to the airport for their flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, they will be met at the airport and transported to Goreme for the tour.

The first destination is Devrent Valley, also known as Imaginary or Pink Valley. This area is renowned for its red-colored lunar landscape filled with unique rock formations. The tour guide will explain how these volcanic formations have evolved over time.

Pasabag - The next stop is the Monks’ Valley, also known as Pasabag. This area is named after the monks who lived here in the 4th century AD. The mushroom-shaped pinnacles are a delightful sight. After visiting Pasabag, guests will enjoy a delicious Turkish lunch at a local restaurant.

Avanos - The tour will then proceed to the town of Avanos, famous for its pottery. Visitors can participate in a pottery workshop and even try their hand at creating their own pottery.

Uchisar - The following stop is the impressive rock formation known as Uchisar Hill, or Landlord’s Castle. The cut-rock caves are fascinating, and the panoramic view of the landscape is truly breathtaking.

Goreme National Park - The best view of Goreme Valley is from Esentepe, where guests can take panoramic photos of the stunning geological formations. The final stop of the tour is the Goreme Open-Air Museum, where visitors will see cave churches adorned with incredible frescoes in monastery complexes. The tour guide will share insights into how these were created between the 10th and 12th centuries AD. At the end of the tour, guests will be transferred to their hotel in Cappadocia for an overnight stay.

South Cappadocia

Goreme Panorama - After being picked up from their hotel by the guide, guests will head to Goreme Panorama, which offers a breathtaking view of Goreme town and its magnificent cave houses.

Red Valley - The tour continues with a scenic hike through the stunning Red/Rose Valley, covering approximately 4 km and lasting just over an hour. Along the trail, guests will encounter enchanting fairy chimneys, quaint local farms, charming pigeon houses, and ancient cave chapels. Throughout the hike, the guide will provide insightful commentary on the rich history and remarkable geological formations of Cappadocia, enriching the experience with fascinating knowledge.

Cavusin - At the end of the hike, there will be a brief stop at Cavusin Old Greek Village, where guests can explore local life and rock-carved churches.

Love Valley - The tour will then proceed to Love Valley, where guests can capture stunning photographs of the pillar-shaped rock formations that characterize Cappadocia.

Kaymakli Underground City - After lunch, the next destination is the carved Kaymakli Underground City, historically used by early Christians as a sanctuary to evade their adversaries.

Pigeon Valley - The tour will pause to take in the breathtaking vista of Pigeon Valley, renowned for its awe-inspiring beauty and intriguing history of carved pigeon houses. The guide will provide fascinating insights into the significance of these unique structures and their role in the region’s cultural heritage. At the end of the tour, guests will be driven to the airport for their flight to Istanbul, where they will be met and transported to their hotel.
