Bursa, once the capital of the Ottoman Empire and now Turkey’s fourth-largest city, is renowned for its rich culture, historical significance, natural beauty, and shopping experiences. This tour offers an opportunity to discover the natural wonders and historical landmarks that make Bursa a premier destination in Turkey.
The journey begins with a crossing of the Izmit Gulf via the Osmangazi Bridge or ferry. The first stop is the 610-year-old Historical Inkaya Tree. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant at the mountain’s base, featuring a delightful mixed grill menu.
The tour continues to Uludağ Mountain, Turkey’s leading winter sports hub. Participants will have free time for skiing, snow activities, chairlift rides, or simply taking in the breathtaking views. The ascent to the mountain is by bus, with a return to Bursa city center via cable car.
In the city center, the tour includes visits to the Green Mosque, Green Mausoleum, Silk Market, historical bathhouse, and a traditional Ottoman house. There will also be shopping opportunities to purchase local products.
