Passionate guide and seamless logistics - I went on 3 tours with Gray Line from Split and luckily Barry was my guide for two of these. Barry is very kind, funny and knowledgable. He went above and beyond to create a Whatsapp group for the tour so as to make sure no one would get lost. This is a cross-country tour and the immigration clearance and time management could be challenging. Luckily our group went through everything very smoothly and timely. Miki was our driver and he was so kind, patient and smiling all the time during this long day of driving and going through immigration 4 times! Barry also shared with the group list of good restaurants and things to do in Split and how to get there on our own. I have been to many of these local tours, big small or private groups, as a solo traveller around the world. I can honestly say Barry and Miki are one of the best guides and drivers. Mostar is beautiful and worth the time spent to get there.

Day trip to Bosnia - Barry was knowledgeable and entertaining as the tour guide. Even though it is a long day, he made the bus ride more enjoyable. The driver did a great job getting us around. My one tip is to bring Euros in cash with you as many places do not accept card payment.

While it is a long day,... - While it is a long day, the bus is comfortable to nap on as you ride along. The weather is warmer than in Croatia so prepare accordingly. Also, bring Euros as cash with you as most places in Bosnia do not accept card payments.

Incredible tour! Highly recommend - I had one of the most amazing days on this trip. I travel a lot and do a fair amount of guided tours like this. Oftentimes I feel like I don't have enough time at each location, but that was not the case here. We had a perfectly sufficient amount of time in Mostar. I had time to see all of the sites, do shopping, eat lunch, and do the coffee experience recommended by the local guide. We also had sufficient time at the waterfalls which were beautiful. BiH was very safe and everybody was very nice. The guide and driver were both great, even with all of the stress of crossing the border (new EES with the EU means everything takes a very long time). There was a family on our tour who did not have the correct visa and had to go back to Split and couldn't leave the EU, so if you are not from somewhere with visa-free access, this is probably not the tour for you. I am from the UK and everyone else was Australian, American/Canadian, or British, and no one else had any problems. If you choose this trip, my only piece of advice would be to bring at least €50 in cash notes, in addition to what you have to bring when you check in for the tour for the border crossing. BiH is very, VERY cheap and takes the Euro, but everywhere only takes cash. I didn't know this and I only had about €35 on me. Since it was only me, I spent about €15 for the whole day (for all food and souvenirs), but for a family this would probably be about €50 total. I was slightly worried I wouldn't have enough when I got there. Mostar did have 2 ATMs, however, I think the exchange rates are better in Croatia and I don't think those ATMs dispensed Euros, and it's not like you can use the extra KM when you get back to Croatia. So just bring a sufficient amount cash money in Euros with you and you'll be fine. My only other recommendation is be aware of the season when you book. I did this tour at the end of May and it was already over 30 degrees in Mostar. It is one of the hottest cities in the Balkans and temperatures exceed 40 or 45 in the late summer. I can also imagine Mostar might be overrun with tourists and that combined with the heat might not make for the most enjoyable day. Do your research and plan ahead, and maybe pass on this if you're visiting in July or August if heat is a concern. If you're in April/May/June or Sept/Oct, absolutely book this tour.

Mostar MUST do - Our guide Barry and driver Mikki made our day a fabulous “must do” experience. Barry’s explanations and knowledge was clear and so well easy to understand, open to all questions and passionate about the countries. Mikki was the most considerate driver ensuring our comfort and safety at all times. Mostar is definitely a must-do HINT take plenty of Euros in cash as cards are not easily accepted and the shopping is fantastic. All the recommendations of eating, drinking, shopping, view points and places to visit helped make the most of the 3-hours allotted to our Mostar visit.

Perfect day - It was an amazing day packed with experiences, cool facts and unforgettable memories. Our tour guide Barry was amazing, as well as our driver Miki. I learnt so much about the country that I had no clue about, and we saw beautiful scenery, tasted great foods and visited incredible landmarks. Would recommend.

Day Trip to Mostar - When we booked to come to Croatia I looked to see what we could visit and we decided upon Mostar. My daughter booked with Grayline and off we went! Everything went like clockwork apart from the border control which I am told can be horrendous in the season so we kind of dodged a bullet on that one. Each stop we made was just about right with coffee and a cake at our first rendezvous followed by over a 3 hour stay in Mostar. We had a guided tour there by Philip who was extremely knowledgeable and spoke brilliant English. We had a wander round Mostar which really was a beautiful little town and packed with sightseers and tourists. To add the final icing to the cake we visited a natural beauty spot with amazing waterfalls and a lovely lake which was just what the Doctor ordered after a long hot day. Long, Hot; Yes but thoroughly enjoyable and so much better than I imagined. Needless to say the whole travel was spent on an air-conditioned coach with Perry (Think that's how you say it) our guide was couldn't have been any better. He gave us so much information and historic facts en route but not continuously talking like some do so allowing me to take regular power naps after our early start to the day! Not only was he extremely knowledgeable also he seemed like a bloody nice bloke and completely genuine! This was maybe the highlight of my trip to Croatia. Awesome!

Good Experience - This was a good experience. I choose this tour because it seemed to have more substance than the Island Tours. The tour guide i believe the his name was Bariša did a great job organizing a large group and assisting us at border crossings. There was also a local guide when were in Mostar Bosnia and Herzegovina. Her name was Ana Maria she was also a delight to hear as well. One frustrating experience was that in Mostar while I was touring in the village heading towards the peace bridge 🌉 I got lost. So I ended up missed the last 30 minutes of a captivating experience, and was some what frustrated. I explained this to Mr Bariša, and he was very sympathetic. When in the village group needs walk hand in hand and tour guide needs to hold and umbrella or something so people will not get lost.
