- Troms - Once the ideal location is identified, a serene spot will be chosen, away from other groups and artificial lights. Patience is part of the experience: the aurora might appear within minutes or take up to two hours. To keep spirits high, a campfire will be made, and hot soup and chocolate will be shared around the fire, along with fascinating insights into this natural wonder. In winter, temperatures range from +5°C to -30°C, so thermal suits will be provided for everyone.
For those with cameras, guidance will be offered on how to adjust settings to best capture the aurora. Additionally, professional photos will be taken to ensure lasting memories of this magical night.
- Troms - It’s important to remember that nature is unpredictable: occasionally, though rarely, the sky may remain cloudy or solar activity may be low. However, sometimes just 20 minutes of clear skies can offer an incredible display. With extensive knowledge of the local climate and advanced weather tools, every effort will be made to be in the right place at the right time.
Nights without the Aurora are uncommon, but they do occur. Therefore, it’s crucial to understand that the Aurora cannot be guaranteed 100%.
The tour’s duration will depend on how long it takes to find the right conditions. Sometimes a 30-minute drive suffices; other times, a more extensive aurora hunt is necessary to find a starry sky. Regardless of the night, an unforgettable adventure is promised!
