The adventure kicks off at Tromsø Skistadion, where participants are greeted by their guide and equipped with skis, poles, and boots. After a brief fitting session, they will begin with a gentle and encouraging introduction to cross-country skiing. The lesson, crafted with the expertise of Olympic champion and co-owner Erik Valnes, offers beginners straightforward exercises to help them gain balance and confidence from the outset.

Once ready, participants will glide into the serene Arctic landscape surrounding Tromsø. The pace is relaxed and accommodating for everyone, allowing ample time for photographs and to soak in the winter scenery. Throughout the journey, the guide shares captivating stories about Norway’s skiing heritage—highlighting its influence on Viking travel, Sami traditions, and everyday life in the north.

Midway through, there will be a pause for a warm beverage and a Norwegian snack, before continuing the journey with increased confidence on the skis. The experience concludes back at the starting point, leaving participants with newfound skills and a deeper appreciation for Norway’s skiing legacy.
