Superb time with the reindeer - Wonderful trip…really interesting. The reindeer are beautiful. The Sami people were really friendly. We were a bit worried it might feel exploitative but it turned into the highlight of our time in Tromso. The reindeer are free to roam and very well looked after, they all had their own personalities. And the Sami people were genuine, full of stories, and even the jokes were funny. It was a great trip, highly recommended

Wonderful family experience - This was one of our holiday highlights. The small group made it feel relaxed and calm. The reindeer were so curious and very cute. We enjoyed interacting with them on their own terms. Mikka gave a really fascinating insight into Sami culture and history, something we knew very little about prior to our trip. The warm fire, drinks and snacks were very enjoyable too. Thank you for wonderful family memories.

Feeding the reindeer was... - Feeding the reindeer was a wonderful experience. They were very excited but very gentle. It is out in the open so if the wind is blowing make sure to wrap up with lots of warm layers

Magical experience with a spoonful of history! Sublime! - Felt like Christmas! As soon as we got there, the host (Sami) allowed us a good amount of time to feed the reindeer - which truly set the experience off with an amazing start! We then had snacks and hot drinks in their Lavoo whilst being enthralled by hearing stories and songs of the Sami culture! Truly unforgettable

Intimacy is Key - Eva and her husband were amazing hosts! If they weren't bound by time constraints, they would have kept our group occupied for hours longer. We really appreciated the small, intimate setting. With no more than a dozen guests, everyone got the chance to speak to wife and husband privately. Huge learning experience. 11/10. 🙌🤓📚

All around great experience - A great experience to be so close to the reindeer and to hear about the Sami and their traditions, their past and the time now. Lots of information about the reindeer and their habitat. A really great experience and great Sami guides.

A very interesting cultural experience - It was a most interesting experience. Being up close with many reindeer, feeding them, patting them if they allowed you. The most interesting part was listening about the Sami history & culture from two Sami people. They were very welcoming & friendly and provided heaps of bread to feed the reindeer.

Beautiful moments - A very nice outing, the reindeer are so cute and docile. This is an opportunity to learn more about the Sami culture and the two herdsmen are really nice and you feel that they love their passion and know how to communicate it. The time in the Sami cabin around the fire with hot drinks and snacking are really welcome.
