Great landscapes - Great exit with lots of nice stops at great landscapes and reindeer, time to look and enjoy. The guides took a lot of time, led warmly and passionately. Highly recommended.

Best experience in Tromso - The Guides knew the best spots and were very respectful of the nature. Lovely lunch at the beach and amazing pictures afterwards. Absolutely recommend this tour!

A fantastic day out!! - An absolutely fantastic day out. Our guides truly spoilt us with all the stops we made. We were not rushed and good information given throughout the day. The trip was advertised as 5 hours but ended up being 8, we didn’t mind that as we were really enjoying ourselves. I highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to explore further than the city itself, it was the highlight of our stay in Tromso! Photos are a bonus extra and captured the day really nicely!

Day tour from Tromso I enjoyed - Cherished 5- hour tour travelled thru to the untouched nature in Kvaløya from Tromso in the moody summer weather. Great driver guide.

Highly recommend tour - This is absolutely an unforgettable tour. highly recommend! The view was amazing and we got to see cute reindeers! More importantly, our tour guides Dominic and Joanna are super nice and professional. feel the whole tour full of fun and good scenes.

Wonderful Day! - We had an incredible day exploring the fjords around Tromsø with two fantastic guides. We were the only two guests on the excursion, and they completely tailored the day to our interests—including taking us on a beautiful hike after learning we enjoy hiking. The guides were knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. They shared fascinating insights about the local area and culture, making the experience feel both personal and enriching. They even acted as our photographers throughout the trip and later shared the photos with us via their website—a great bonus! Lunch was included and served in a stunning location with breathtaking views. To top it all off, we had the option to take an unplanned (and chilly!) polar plunge—definitely a highlight we’ll never forget. If you're looking for a unique and personalized way to explore the natural beauty around Tromsø, this excursion is a must. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Recommended - Extremely scenic winter wonderland, and a definite trip highlight in spite of the bad weather and poor visibility. I booked this tour on a whim but it has definitely been a star of this trip. A huge shout-out to the personable guide for this trip- Pepe was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the region, and he really diligently did his best to give everyone a great experience, through the almost continual snow and fog. The thermal suits and winter boots are included in this tour, and they are comfortable and of excellent quality and really helped to cut out the effects of the weather. Would definitely recommend this company and this tour not only for those who are looking for some views and filler before their northern lights tours, but also as a standalone highlight worth making the trip down to Tromsø for.

Pepe in the Fjord - We had a wonderful day being guided by Pepe. He was so warm and funny and made our day very memorable and fun. The weather wasn't looking great for views as it was snowing a lot. Pepe guided us to areas with blue sky and sunshine. He is a credit to the company. We received warm suits and had hot chocolate and baguettes on a snowy beach. Arctic Explorers are a great company to use. There are so many and it can be confusing but we made a good choice thankfully.

Fjords and nature - Dominik as a guide is very sympathetic and the idea that he takes photos is very successful. Personally, I would have liked a little more variety in the outlook, but maybe that is not possible there either. ES all in all it was very fun with Dominik.

Choose someone else for Fjord expedition - Did fjord expedition tour with Arctic explorers in tromso on 24th March 2025. The tour itself was great and we had a lovely time. The tour included free photos captured by the guide on the tour and the guide took a lot of photos as well. The images are supposed to be available on their website within 24hrs of tour completion but we didn't get it for atleast 5 days. When the photos were uploaded, we only got 6-7 photos out of total 25+ which the guide clicked for us. Contacting the company via their website resulted in no response.
