An Unforgettable Photography Adventure on Senja with Nico! - If you are looking for the ultimate photo excursion in Northern Norway, look no further. I recently went on a trip to the magical island of Senja with Nico, and it was, in one word: phenomenal! This is not just a tour; it’s a photography masterclass from a true expert. Nico knows the region like the back of his hand and uses his custom 4x4—which handles deep snow with ease—to take you to hidden gems far away from the typical tourist crowds. Whether it’s the iconic Mount Segla or the dramatic "Devil’s Teeth" at Tungeneset, Nico knows exactly when to push forward to catch that perfect light between the snowstorms. What sets Nico apart is his personal touch and expertise. He teaches you about composition, aspect ratios, and the technicalities of shutter speeds and aperture. I returned home with 145 stunning photos and new skills. Even when the Arctic weather is challenging, Nico ensures an unforgettable experience. Instead of shivering in the cold, he guided us to a remote wooden "hytte" and conjured a magical lunch from his backpack: warm reindeer soup (bidos), hot chocolate, and cookies. The atmosphere is fantastic; Nico greets his clients like old friends and goes above and beyond to ensure a top-tier day. Senja is often called "Norway in a nutshell," but with Nico as your guide, it becomes a grand adventure. Whether you book a day excursion or an Aurora hunt: Nico is the absolute Arctic Photo Guide you need. Highly recommended for every photography enthusiast!

Discovering the most authentic fjords - There are two types of guides: those who do it only for work and those who do it with passion. Nicola definitely belongs to the second category. From the moment of booking, we understood that we had to rely on him to live an unforgettable experience and so it was. Unlike the classic tourist tours, Nicola takes you on a discovery tour of the lesser-known sights and more isolated places to fully experience the Norwegian fjords!! Equipped with anything you may need during the tour, he has always been attentive to our well-being especially given the low temperatures. For lunch (included in the price) he served us an excellent reindeer soup by the sea. This journey will remain in our hearts also thanks to him!! If I haven’t convinced you yet, go see his car 🤪

Fantastic tour. Small group, breathtaking photos - I joined the tour on January 20th (2026). It was fantastic, with a small group. Nico knows the most beautiful (and hidden) spots in the region. The fact that he loves nature and photography made everything even better as he was in no rush, was very kind, and gave us many tips — almost like mini-lessons — on how to take the best photos. In addition, he took some truly breathtaking photos himself, which he later shared with us. There was lunch (soup) and he also offered thermal stickers (body warmers) for those who needed.

Fantastic tour of the fjords - The best way to tour the fjords is with Nico's guide! We saw beautiful landscapes and beaches bathed in a freezing sea with the characteristic white mountains in the background that create a fantastic show! Thanks to Nico who took us to these magical places away from tourists and especially always in time to enjoy it before it started snowing!

An experience not to be missed in Tromso - First of all, Nicola is a fantastic guide. This tour, in addition to offering the opportunity to see dream places, is unmissable for many reasons, including the small number of people (maximum 6) and the disruptive energy of Nicola, who in addition to being a great photographer (you will have dream portraits) is a great person. Nicola is super organized regarding the trip itself and also very knowledgeable in telling you about the fjords and wonders of the Norwegian landscape. I highly recommend it!

Senja Multi Day Photo Tour - This was my third trip with Nico. My group visited the island of Senja for a five day photo tour trip. The incredible autumnal colours were an absolute treat for a photographer and nature lovers with exceptional beauty around every corner, it just blew me away time and time again. The weather was rather challenging at times but Nico ensured we made the absolute most of every moment. His perseverance and experience paying off more than once allowing us to see incredible Northern Lights despite the difficult conditions! Nico is an exceptional and passionate guide who is both knowledgable and an excellent teacher. I cannot recommend Nico’s tours highly enough! I am already planning the next trip!!

Stunning Lyngen Alps Hike with Epic Views and Fun Chats! - Our day hike in Tromsø was absolutely awesome, thanks to our amazing guide! We hiked through jaw-dropping mountains and fjords under clear blue skies, and the views were straight out of a postcard. Nico snapped some incredible photos that totally captured the beauty of the day—seriously, they’re Instagram gold! On the drive, we had such great chats about all sorts of stuff, from local history to random fun topics, which made the whole experience feel so relaxed and personal. This guy’s passion and chill vibe made the day unforgettable. Highly recommend him for anyone wanting a fantastic adventure in Tromsø!
