Situated by the coast, this camp is managed by a local who constructed it using reclaimed materials and a passion for Arctic culture. Savor a warm meal from a local kitchen and unwind with coffee, tea, or hot cocoa while waiting for the Northern Lights. Indoor facilities and restrooms are available.
Aurora Base Camp – east of Tromsø
Inspired by Sámi architecture, this permanent lavvu features a glass roof and an indoor fire pit. Guests are served a traditional meal and hot beverages. Nestled among mountains and plains, it provides a tranquil environment. The camp includes restrooms and is operated by a local farmer who maintains the fire and keeps the road accessible.
