A unique experience - We had a unique evening with Karin at her cabin. She provided us with drinks and grilled delicacies to the best. She is a great hostess and experienced Northern Lights guide. The evening offered a unique Northern Lights spectacle. We can only recommend this tour.

One of the best nights of my life - I went on a Northern Night tour with Karim and the night couldn't have been any better. It was an 8 person group and I was travelling on my own, but the group atmosphere was warm and chatty. First of all, my tour was booked for Saturday night, and two days before Karim wrote to me to offer me to change the date to Friday, as both the weather and the aurora chances were going to be better. I luckily was able to change it and the night started with some huge auroras just as we were driving out of Tromso. Karim knew of a spot with less light pollution along the way and we could enjoy the lights for quite some time. Karim took photos of all of us with her camera (thank you!) and we explored the area as the lights were changing locations. It was great. Once the lights were dimmer we headed towards Hillesøy, where Karim had booked a cabin for us to get warm and have dinner. She told us that depending on the weather forecast she either goes to her own cabin or rents one (she has a couple different locations). We were able to see the lights once again when we arrived and she was checking for them throughout the way too, just in case they got stronger so we would stop. The cabin was very cozy. She lit a fire that quickly made the place warm and she took a big variety of food out for dinner: sausages, cheese, sauces, home made jam, marshmallows, etc. There was plenty of food for all of us. She even brought home made wine, it was delicious! Besides, I asked her a couple weeks before the tour about the availability of gluten free food in case I had to bring gluten free bread (I'm a gluten intolerant) and she told me she'd buy the bread herself, which I highly appreciated. During this time we went out of the cabin a couple times to see if the lights had came out again, which they did but in a fainter way. The strongest ones were the first ones. After having dinner and since the sky got cloudy, we headed back to Tromso and she left each of us at our accommodation (another guest and I were in Tromsdalen and she even took us all the way there). All in all, this tour offered me one of the best nights of my life. I'm so glad I decided to take this instead of a bigger bus tour, as the van could go to places where buses can't and as the atmosphere and the dinner made the whole night even more worth it. Thank you, Karim! Tusen takk!

Perfect Northern Lights Tour - My wife and I did two Northern Lights tours in Tromso from two different companies last week. This was by far the better of the two. It was more personal (smaller group), had more stops to watch the lights (more variety in photos), and included a visit to a heated cabin where there was a wide spread of Norwegian delicacies (some of which were homemade by the owner) for a perfect bbq. On top of that, the tour was more affordable and we reached back to our hotel sooner. Karin’s tour is simply perfect!

Very nice experience - Very good times spent with Karin, his enthusiasm is communicative! Our hunt for the Northern Lights was a success in every way. Well installed in the 8 seater minibus we stopped once to admire the Northern Lights, then Karin took us to a small cabin to warm up and eat, we even grilled sausages! We can only recommend this outing. Gilbert and Chantal

Great guide for a great evening - Beautiful evening, punctual, we left Tromso and stopped in a first spot to see the Northern Lights, we were lucky and we saw it for a long time, and that danced too. We went from the little house about 60 minutes drive from Tromso, where the guide lit a fire and where we could eat euch Zhe, sandwiches, and there were also hot drinks... You could leave the house to see the Northern Lights, or stay inside for those who were cold. Outstanding Guide (Oscar)

Wonderful Northern Lights Safari with Great Guide - After the start in Tromso we had a few stops to look for Northern Lights - which we also found and then headed towards Karin's Basecamp. Before that she had assured herself that there was clear skies. After about 1.5h drive we arrived and had a great view of the Northern Lights and were able to warm up in the cabin, snack and drink something warm. Then we had enough time to watch the Northern Lights, with great tips for taking photos.

When the dawns dance... - Incredible experience!!! Karin brought us to spots where the aurora come to dance before your eyes!!! In addition to a warm place for a meal in the embers, the kindness of our host and his patience to machine gun our trombines under this festive sky, made this evening an unforgettable moment!!!! Takk Karin🥰👍

Amazing northern lights your.. - It was amazing. Karen was a very nice guide and host and the tour was kind di personalized in the sense that whenever we used to see aurora, she would herself stop the minivan so that we all could enjoy. Lovely cabin also :)

Absolutely amazing! A must when in Tromso - Amazing! What a truly magical evening. We got to see the northern lights dance. We had our 11 month old baby with us and we weren’t sure what trip to take that/ if any would be suitable for us. We spoke to Karin, who reassured us as there was space in the minivan we would be able to bring him without any issues. She was so accommodating with our little boy. Karin was so friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. On our way out of the city towards the cabin we saw the lights and stopped en route to see them. Beautiful! After time to see their beauty and take some photos we carried on and stopped once more further along to see the lights. Once at the cabin, the fire was already going which kept us all warm. Karin had some amazing food to cook on the fire together as a group and even bought her own wine for us to try (delicious!). We spent some time at the cabin seeing the amazing lights and gorgeous surroundings. There was sleds and mats to have more fun with whilst we were there too. I cannot recommend this trip enough, it was truly amazing to see the lights and Karin is such an amazing host. We will remember this trip forever!
