- Hot tub use includes access to a shower, changing room, and hair dryer. Swimwear is required for the hot tub. Bring your own towel or robe, with towel rentals available onboard.
- Notify at least 24 hours in advance if a vegetarian soup is preferred or if there are other dietary restrictions.
- All guests are required to sign a waiver before boarding.

Meet directly at the yacht 'Stella Oceana', a white, 33 meter sailing yacht with 2 wooden rigs at the marina right in front of the Fiskekompaniet restaurant. Arrive 15 minutes prior to the 19:00 (7pm) departure time for check-in.

MagicAL - This was such a wonderful experience, and I really think that is because of the captain and crew’s attention to detail. They really thought of everything, from welcome drinks, to private time in the hot tub, to helping us carry towels around, it was so lovely. We even saw the lights, when I truly thought we had no chance at all. (Low KP and lots of cloud cover). A really wonderful experience, thank you both.

Sailing in Tromso hunting auroras - The sailboat is spotless, it is a beautiful experience sailing on it. His crew super friendly, helpful. The captain who is expert in what he does, you can see the love he has for his boat, his city, the sea and his work.

The best experience of our life - This was hands down the best experience of our Nordic. From start to finish, the Northern Lights yacht tour felt truly special.
We were incredibly lucky, the Northern Lights were visible for most of the nearly four-hour journey, and we even witnessed the dancing lights, which was absolutely magical. Being out on the water, surrounded by silence, sky, and sea, made the experience deeply immersive and genuinely rejuvenating.
The hosts were exceptional, warm, kind, and deeply passionate about what they do. The captain’s excitement when the Northern Lights appeared was contagious; he was genuinely thrilled for us, celebrating the moment alongside us, which made the experience feel even more joyful and heartfelt. One of the most memorable parts of the evening was hearing his stories about his grandmother from Tromsø, adding a beautiful personal touch that made the night feel intimate and human.
The food was fantastic, especially the reindeer soup, which was comforting, delicious, and perfectly suited for a cold Arctic night. Every detail, from the atmosphere to the hospitality, was thoughtfully done.
This was more than just a Northern Lights tour, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience we will cherish forever. Thank you for such a beautiful, soulful evening.

Northern Lights Boat Tour! - I had the best time! The hosts were amazing and the reindeer stew was phenomenal! I’d highly recommend as the hut tub under the northern lights is like no other experience I’ve had. :) We got lucky with seeing the lights as it was a beautiful clear night since & it’s weather dependent! Wonderful experience - My son and I took a trip (his choice) for his high school graduation; this excursion was a true highlight. These hosts go above and beyond in all that they do. They CARE and are invested. To do this every night and to get so excited to see the northern lights **for your guests' sake** is heartwarming. The yacht was clean and every detail was thoughtfully decided upon to make the experience memorable, comfortable, and what each individual desires.

Hot tub in the snow at sea! - Firstly seeing the Northern Lights is a lottery not a guarantee, and although on this occasion we didn't see them (cloudy snowy weather), both Captain Kennet and Sachi were engaging, welcoming and professional and we still had a fab time.
The interior of the boat was comfy and cosy and the reindeer stew was very tasty.
Despite no Northern Lights, it was quite the experience to sit in a hot tub on a boat in the artic while it snowed!
As we were on the deck, we caught Kennet for an impromptu chat as we were returning to port. Kennet is Tromso born and bred and has family roots going back to the beginning of the town so has fantastic local knowledge and clearly cares deeply about the place and the environment.
Warning - wrap up warm if it's early January!

A dream! - The Stella Oceana, a beautiful ship, docks in a perfect location in the middle of the Tromsø Haven District. The team, Captain Kenneth and Sachi, are doing their job with passion! Beautiful tours, super interesting facts about fjord and wildlife, enjoying Aurora Borealis in the warm hot tub or warming up after Polar Plunge, hot chocolate and cookies and the wonderful reindeer stew conjured up by Sachi make a fjord cruise with World Sea Explorers an unforgettable experience.
On board:
Wonderfully maintained ship, crew with a lot of experience, shower/WC, coffee, tea, cookies in self-service, depending on the offer lunch, dinner, hottub use. Enough comfortable seating in the warm below deck, 2 outdoor decks to enjoy the dream landscapes.
