Amazing experience with fantastic guide! - We had a fantastic time. We had lots of free time to meet the dogs and puppies prior to the sledding. We also had a snow shoe hike across the wilderness and enjoyed hot beverages and cookies. Our guide Slavo was incredible. He had unlimited information about the northern lights and dogs at the facility. He was very interesting and clearly passionate about the experience which really made it magical. Overall the whole experience was very well organised and facilities clean and pleasant. The food and drink was plentiful and delicious and staff extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely visit the facility again in the future.

120 Dogs - Honestly the dogs are better than the northern lights. They told us all about how they care for their dogs and make sure they have the best lives they can. And of course we got free time to hang out with the dogs!

Fantastic - Even Better Than Expected - This was so much better than I expected. The dogs are fantastic fun and warm the heart. The staff are so passionate and proper about what they do that its lovely to see and experience. The wellfare of the dogs is their upmost concern and they work with the personality of each dog. The food and cabin fire dining were great. And the camp fire talk on the Northern lights inspired us to book - despite the weather reports - And we saw them the next day. But on the night of our visit here if the skies were clear - we would have seen them.

Husky love - I enjoyed this visit even if the huskies were chained. They look very well looked after, and were eager to see us. They wanted to be stroked and loved the attention. You have the choice to get some overalls there. I would advise people to get those as you are going to be licked, rubbed against, jumped on, etc., by the dogs. We learned a lot of cool facts about Alaskan huskies, such as how they are chosen to push a sled, what their diet is, and that they are put up for adoption once they reach a certain age to that they can retire in a warm and cozy Norwegian house. The cod soup was nice, although a bit spicy for me. It reminded me of Portuguese caldeirada. You also get bread with the soup, and a dessert (chocolate cake). Sadly, there was no Northern Lights the evening I visited. It was very slippery on the yard were the dogs were, so I would recommend briging crampons, but I guess it depends on the weather.

A dog-lovers' dream - A fabulous activity for dog-lovers. Plenty of time to explore the dog yard at your leisure, with 100+ dogs to meet and fuss. The dogs appear to be relaxed and genuinely enjoy the experience too, with each having the option for quiet time in their kennel, or play with visitors on the yard. Northern lights were the icing on the cake, if you're lucky enough to have clear skies and solar activity whilst there, then this is a brilliant dark location to see them, without venturing too far from Tromsø. Food and drink was also delicious, topped off by campfire and marshmallows. Also... a huge thank you to Tom (one of the staff there) for helping my now fiancée capture images of the moment he got down on one knee, amongst the huskies and under the Northern Lights!!!

Kid friendly experience - I went mostly for my kids who really love dogs as we couldn't do the dog sleighing. They had a great time! The dogs are super sociable. The dinner (cod fish stew) was really nice and we even saw a mild aurora (the weather wasn't on our side). The kids had a great time slidding down the snowy slopes with mattress sledges!

Great Experience - Lovely trip - even though we did not see the northern lights, meeting the Huskeys was great - my 13 yr old daughter loved that, and dinner/campfire was nice touch as well at the tobogan rides!

Loved the Huskies - Loved the huskies!! Unfortunately didn’t get to see the northern lights, but obviously that’s Mother Natures fault. Had fun learning about mushing and the overall experience.

Husky Dogs! - The husky dogs are gorgeous. I cuddled lots of them! The location is about 30 mins from the centre and it is possible to stay overnight there. It's also a good location to see Northern Lights. It was too cloudy on this night but I didn't mind as I'd seen them the night before. We watched a 10 min film about dog sledding and then we got to meet the dogs. The veggie meal option was couscous and I had hot chocolate to drink. Overall, a very nice experience.
