A great experience - The effort the guide put into planning ahead of time, communicating the reasons behind his choice of route and the information about northern lights..the speed with which issues were resolved were very impressive. Also we got to see the northern lights, so I felt very happy to tick off a bucket list !

Amazing Experience - My mom and I had the BEST time on the Northern Lights minibus experience. It was great from the start, with fun and knowledgeable guides who went out of their way to ensure everyone on the tour had a good night. We were kitted out with great gear, fed heartily, got an education on the science and lore of the Northern Lights, enjoyed a campfire in a gorgeous, off-the-beaten-path location ... and absolutely lucked out with an incredible light show from Mother Nature. I would do this trip again in a heartbeat.

A magical experience - Excellent experience, our guide Louis was knowledgeable, interesting and very focussed. It was a cloudy evening in and around Tromso, but he was constantly checking on the best place to catch the lights. We drove to the Finnish border and managed to see a fantastic display before the clouds came in there too. At no point was Louis in any rush about getting back to the city, wanting us to get every opportunity to see as much of the lights as possible. Highly recommended!

Perfect tour for nothern light chase - Our guide Iris was just wonderful. The weather was very bad in Tromsø but we went far to catch the aurora. I recommend this mini van tour that allows you to move quickly and freely.

Well Worth the Cost (and Cold) - Well, we met the tour at 630pm. Drove 2 hours to the Finnish border to get behind a mountain range and the cloud cover. They're experts at this. It was 18-20 degrees as everyone snapped pictures for 3 hours. Back to the hotel at 2am.

Highly recommended! - Jessica and Isabel were the best guides we could have had. You can tell they love their job; they went straight to where we had the best chance of seeing the auroras because it was super cloudy that day. We're so grateful; we traveled so far to see such a spectacle and thanks to them, we were able to see it! Thank you for your kindness, professionalism, and good vibes. These are memories that will forever remain in our hearts. Plus, the food was delicious and the campfire gave it a special touch!!

Northern Lights Chase! - We had such a lovely experience with our guide, Jessica and driver Isabella took care of us SO well! Our northern light chase was a tough start as there was a heavy bit of cloud coverage, and we understood that they can't guarantee anything once we are on the hunt, but as we kept getting more inland our guide started to track some clear skies and see stars! We eventually ended up driving into Finland to a pretty well known area (that I believe the local chase guides call, "the river") and there were also other groups there, too! We had a few beautiful green rays shine through the sky in between clouds; overall we call it a success as we saw the Northern Lights! *bonus: we got to cross over this bridge and technically be in Sweden as well*

Highly recommended! - Great experience! We tried the big bus and the minibus chase by Arctic Explorers. My thoughts on choosing between the two: The experience on the minibus chase was much better, it is about 50% more the cost; but the pros are as follows. 1. the minibus is smaller and more "agile" while for the buses it looks like there are designated spots. So (a) the group can access more spots (which means a higher chance of seeing the Northern Lights) and (b) your minibus group is likely to be the only one in the vicinity, which makes for a much nicer experience. 2. The guide can focus on maximizing the time in the cold for viewing the northern lights. 3. thermal suits were provided. They are REALLY good. they make the experience much better 4. There was some "instant food" i.e. the kind you re-hydrayte with hot water provided. ( I had a good dinner and didn't need it). This is not a gourmet meal, but appropriate for camping in the cold. Generally for Arctic Explorers the guides are engaging and take good photos (we had great photos both nights) with people and the Northern lights in the backdrop. Our guide on the minibus tour, Jeremias was entertaining, engaging, took good photos and enhanced the trip.
