Excellent view of Northern Lights - We booked our Northern Lights tour with Greenlander based on its strong reputation as being the best guides in Tromso to see the “ Lights.” We were not disappointed! Even though the weather in Tromso was not good, we travelled to a high point overlooking a fjord, where the sky was full of stars. Very soon, there was a magnificent display of the Northern Lights. Markus, our guide, was very accommodating and friendly. He took some fantastic professional photos, including portraits of us enjoying the experience! And he was a huge help to us using our cameras. Greenlander is very deserving of its reputation of being the number 1 Northern Lights guides in Tromso!

A magical proposal made possible with only the best, GREENLANDER. - Thank you for organising the most incredible evening, Markus and Greenlander! Markus went out of his way to plan the most incredible trip. We could not believe the personal touch and service we received.
Arbo, our guide was absolutely phenomenal, we were lucky enough to see the lights, but even if we hadnt been able to, Arbo made the entire experience unforgettable.Thank you for this once in a lifetime experience and being part of our story! I will cherish it forever!

A truly magical experience - The evening was absolutely magical! Victor was an incredible guide—knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated to making the experience unforgettable. Throughout the trip, he kept a close eye on the sky, tracking activity to find the perfect viewing spot.
He also took stunning photos, capturing every special moment, and even took me to see reindeer, which was an incredible bonus! The private tour felt exclusive and personalized, making it worth every penny.
To top it all off, I was treated to a cozy experience with warm soup, hot chocolate, cookies, and tea—such a thoughtful touch. If you’re looking for an unforgettable adventure, this is it! Highly highly highly recommend!

Amazing experience. - Victor our tour guide was amazing. Really informative and friendly. We drove all the way to Finland to seeing the beautiful dancing aurora. Worth every single penny! Fully recommended!

Mission Accomplished! - For my wife’s 50th birthday, she wanted to see the Northern Lights. So, we planned a trip to Oslo for a few days and then a quick trip North to Tromso. We hoped to end the birthday with a bang! And guess what? Greenlander went above and beyond our expectations. Although they were booked up, Markus worked with me to arrange a tour. The weather forecast wasn’t looking great, but our super experienced and knowledgeable guide (Victor) was determined to find the aurora. I’m happy to say that we got an amazing 30-minute light show that didn’t disappoint. Mission accomplished! My wife was over the moon! Thanks a bunch, Greenlander team! And thanks, Victor! Oh, and the snacks, hot cocoa, and soup came in handy too! Overall, I highly recommend Greenlander. Markus was a pleasure to work with, and Victor is a walking encyclopedia of the Northern Lights. If the aurora is out, he knows where to find it! Thanks again, Greenlander team!

Northern lights chase with Greenlander in January 2025 - Our experience with Greenlander was fantastic! Victor was a wonderful guide. The weather was sketchy around Tronzo, but he was persistent. We went to the finish border and he found an open field with clear skies and what we considered to be a magnificent show.
It was well worth it, and I would absolutely recommend using Greenlander without reservation.
The entire process was professional and efficient. Scheduling was easy and questions were answered promptly.
We were picked up at our hotel at 1730 and did not get back until 03 30! We will never forget it.

An experienced guide with heart and knowledge! Highly recommended - It was a wonderful experience chasing auroras with Markus. We were lucky and saw the lights so early that we barely had time to eat the lovingly prepared lentil soup or drink the cocoa. Markus managed to fulfil all our wishes. A warm car for the child, pictures of the schnapps for the husband and family photos for the mum. Thank you for a great time and great memories.

Greenlander - the best photos you could hope for! - We had a really great northern lights trip with Greenlander. Our guide Arbo really went the extra mile to take us to a special, private spot with reflections of the water. He made hotdogs and hot chocolate for us and took some incredible professional photographs. The northern lights themselves were a little bit visible to the naked eye and pretty incredible in the photos. I would definitely recommend the tour company.

My dream come true - Tour with a guide in English, the price includes thermal suits (and boy do you need them!), The guide made a bonfire while sharing hot soup, hot chocolate and homemade cookies. We also had chocolates for the bonfire. They take one or two photos and send them to your email at no extra cost.
