Amazing hosts! Amazing Lights! - Weather conditions looked dire, and we were worried that our Northern Lights experience was not to be. BUT Joanna and Sokrates saved the day! (or should I say night :-) They were absolutely wonderful hosts, and although we were losing hope with the weather, we had a couple hours of complete magic with an unbelievable aurora show. Unforgettable memories... thank you again for everything!

Hans and Socrates are the best team for the best experience of the northern lights! Cannot recommend enough! - Honestly unbelievable experience. Granted the northern lights being visible is not up to the tour but the expertise and safe, confident ability of the teams is what maximises your chances. Hans Erik and Socrates were both incredibly knowledgeable, capable and friendly. Can’t recommend them enough and hope you get them for your tour. Hans camera skills as well were on point!

Highly recommended - We did the tour with Vera who didn’t rest until we found a place where we could not only enjoy the auroras, but also be a beautiful place in itself. We made many miles and many attempts until we got it but it was worth it. We had previously done a bus tour and it has no point of comparison. It's not worth the price difference. With the bus we stopped at a couple of places next to the road and it certainly wasn't the best option.

Wonderful Aurora, awesome tour - I was on my belated birthday trip in Tromso to chase the Northern Lights as it was on my bucket list ever since I can remember. I went on this tour despite low chances of seeing Aurora that night due to some rain and very thick cloud cover. I was aware that seeing the lights cannot be guaranteed as it's quiet unpredictable and really depends on the weather but it was part of the adventure so I went and I didn't regret. My guide, Hans-Eric and his driver, Jan did everything in their power to drive us to a location with some Aurora visibility during the night. After 10 pm, the sky cleared and we had the most amazing display of the Northern Lights - it was much more than I wished for. Hans-Eric was very friendly, knowledgable and the photos he took are incredible. The tour was very well organised, the driver was skilled, I also got hot chocolate and we could warm up by the campfire. It was definitely an adventure for a lifetime. I would 100% recommend this tour!

Great aurora experience - Had a fantastic evening and Dimi was a great guide. The solar activity started about 10 minutes after we left so we pulled over in a parking spot and admitted it for an hour, it was phenomenal. The camp fire later was also nice - good hot chocolate, marshmallows and cookies. Thanks for a very memorable night!

Skilled and knowledgeable guide and driver - We holidayed in Norway with the specific hope of seeing the Northern Lights and we were not disappointed. Our guide, Hans Eric, and driver, Jan, ensured that, despite cloud cover, we found a spot to view this beautiful phenomenon in a small group. Hans Eric was generous in sharing his knowledge and we enjoyed the campfire and hot chocolate. Hans Eric took photographs, but there was no hard sell to buy any of them. We very much enjoyed the trip and would definitely recommend Polar Adventures.

Company Canceled Tour Last Minute - Our Aurora tour was canceled by email less than 3 hours before our meeting time without providing any reasons, and without helping us try to join a different tour since it was so last minute. It was our last night in Tromso and our last chance to see the northern lights. We understand unpredictable things can happen, but the least a respectable company can do is try to help out customers without leaving them stranded last minute. They know these tours book in advance and didn’t care that we’d be left without an aurora experience. Also nobody bothered to reply to my message over a week after the fact. It seems most people have great experiences when the tours do happen and that’s great, but the quality of a company isn’t just measured by how good things are when everything goes right, but by how they deal with adverse events and respect their customers.
