Amazing guide, amazing photos - A fun, cold, exciting adventure into the artic to see the lights. Our guide, Martin, was incredibly passionate about finding the lights. He made it his mission to ensure we had fun along the way and his light hearted, enthusiastic personality is contagious. We set off from the meeting point and drove about an hour into the wilderness. Along the way, Martin was checking for best spots and informing us of what his plans were. We arrived to a clearing, where Martin took some guests for a face plunge. It was entertaining for them…and us! Later a fire was started, we enjoyed hot drinks and snacks and moments later the aurora started. It was absolutely stunning! From there we went to a second location which required a bit of a hike. Worth every minute as we followed the path next to a river to a clearing with a perfect view of a mountain and the aurora. From this spot we saw greens and pinks as well as so many stars. We then hiked back to the bus and made our way back to Tromso. The driver was incredibly kind and dropped people off along the way, when possible. We would highly recommend this tour and given the opportunity, would find Martin again to be our tour guide. Amazing guide, amazing photos!

Awesome experience and great value for money - We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and had a very memorable night watching Aurora Borealis. Driver, Viktor, did a great job in difficult driving conditions and our tour guide, Martin, did a wonderful job tracking down the lights, building a fire, providing snacks and warm drinks and taking professional photos of everyone with the extraordinary light show as a backdrop. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience and it was excellent value for money compared with other tourist activities in Tromso.

Successful chase - At the first I had no hope due to the weather but thanks for their efforts. And the bonfire is a very good activity to kill time when we have to wait and be patient 🥰

Super admirable orchestra - Excellent light group experience, there are few people on the day so it is a small car trip, there is heating equipment and baking cotton sugar, garlic can be eaten, drinks are also very abundant. Free photo offer, guides are very nice and bright though it is a natural landscape, but we are really surprised when we see the index one! If there is a Tromso recommended to you -

Excellent aurora - Aurora were amazing and worth the late night - downside we dropped stopped at dude if road and had hotdogs on a fire which was nice - photos were good and sent over the next day - only down side was photographer was rude however we had a large group who kept wandering off and we had to wait for them so we booked another tour and opted for a small tour which was better organised - however aurora were fantastic

No show - Sadly we didn’t see the lights on our tour, while this is no fault of the operators it was a disappointment. We were offered another night to try but as we were from a cruise ship leaving the next day this wasn’t an option for us.

No Northern Lights to Watch / Waste of Money - I’m writing to express my strong disappointment with the Northern Lights tour I joined from Tromsø on Nov 14, 2025. The experience was far from what was advertised and, frankly, felt like a waste of both time and money. To begin with, there were no Northern Lights to see at all during the entire eight-hour trip. I understand that this is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. However, your team should have been transparent from the start if there was a high probability of not seeing anything that night. Guests should have been given the chance to opt out or reschedule rather than being taken on a long, cold journey with unrealistic expectations. Adding to the disappointment, there was an obvious dispute between the driver and the guide during the tour. The driver reasonably suggested continuing toward Finland, where the skies were reportedly clearer, but the guide refused and insisted on staying put. This lack of teamwork and poor judgment directly impacted the experience for everyone on board. When the tour ended, there was no acknowledgment of the situation—no apology, no explanation, and certainly no offer of a rebooking or even a small gesture of goodwill like a raincheck. The bus was half empty, so accommodating guests for another night would not have been a logistical issue. For me, this was my only opportunity before flying home the next morning, and I left feeling completely let down. The experience also fell short of what was promised in your tour description. You advertised food and photography services. In reality, we were given nothing more than a cup of hot chocolate and a few cookies—hardly the “light meal” mentioned. As for the photos, nobody took any of me or the group. I only saw the driver snapping a few random shots of the sky and a handful of people. Nothing was organized, shared, or professional about it. Once we arrived at the supposed viewing location, there was virtually no guidance or engagement from the staff. Guests were left to wander out into the freezing night, look up at a dark sky, and return to the bus to warm up. It felt disorganized and indifferent—nothing like the guided, informative experience you advertise. To be fair, I will say the bus itself was comfortable and warm, and the driver handled the snowy roads safely and professionally. However, this was the only positive aspect of an otherwise disappointing night. Finally, your company should be clearer about the logistical challenges of returning from the city center after midnight. Travelers staying outside the center will need to take a taxi, which can cost up to USD 50. I was lucky that the driver happened to drop off two passengers near my hotel, but others may not be as fortunate. In summary, this tour was poorly managed, misleadingly advertised, and handled with little concern for customer satisfaction. I expected a memorable Arctic experience—instead, I was left cold, frustrated, and regretting my decision to book with your company. I strongly recommend that you review your communication practices and refund or compensate guests when the service so clearly fails to deliver on its promises. Sincerely, Angel Alvarez
