Highly recommended - We had an amazing experience with our guides, Elon, Peter, and the third guide whose name I unfortunately forgot. They were all incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour truly enjoyable. Despite the cloudy weather, they went above and beyond to find us a clear spot so we could witness the Northern Lights. A big thank you to them! We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great experience.

The best Tour 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 - What an evening of unforgettable moments, shared with our three children (5, 8, 14). Viktor is a fantastic guide who is transparent about the experience from the beginning, and Pete is a wonderful driver who took us safely back through the many weather conditions. We saw the aurora, but also saw them dancing in the sky, and it's truly an indescribable moment.

The experience was great!... - The experience was great! Our guide Claudia was friendly and open to assist us with anything we needed. She shared every step of her decisions of where we would go to see the lights and moved to a better spot because the first wasn't dark enough, even though we had seen the aurora there. We were fortunate to see a great show for the night! And the second location was even better.

We had the good fortune... - We were lucky enough to be accompanied by Elijah and Romeo as tour guides in Italian and English in search of the Northern Lights. They were exhaustive and prepared in their explanations, telling us in a clearly engaging way many aspects of this extraordinary phenomenon. They were able to identify strategic positions for observation and thanks to their experience we were able to see it!! We really appreciated their empathy and passion for their work. A really beautiful memory, super recommended! Not to forget... the driver Sondre also great driving and quick to get among the first on site!

Successful Northern Lights tour - A long but rewarding tour. It was approximately 1 1/2 hr drive to Jorvik where we were fortunate to see the Northern Lights. The bus was clean and comfortable and was always open and warm to come back to intermittently. David our guide was very friendly and informative. He took pictures and gave us interesting facts about the aurora borealis around the bonfire. We were given a hot drink. The stars were beautiful as it was a clear sky and we saw a display of the lights in the sky and mirrored in the water of the fjord. It was clearer looking through your phone. We arrived back just before 1.30am so it was a long evening but if you get to see the lights it's definitely worth it!

Didn’t see lights, guides knew no activity and didn’t cancel - We didn’t see lights. The guide said there wasn’t a lot of activity but I’m seeing posts from others on the same day that saw lights. This company brags about having a large network of experts to know exactly where to go, etc and we didn’t have any luck after 8 hours driving around. I understand the weather cannot be controlled but if there was no activity as they said then why didn’t they cancel and refund or reschedule the trip? I believe they knew this ahead of time as in the beginning the host was saying it would be a “challenging” trip requiring some luck. A euphemism for “we probably won’t see anything”. There were a few non light activity related issues as well - the bus was packed. We were around 60 people. The bus stops with other buses on the side of the road (the spots are on Google Maps marked as viewing points so maybe go here on your own?). When multiple buses stop in the same area were talking about over 100 people together without a lot of space. They don’t turn off the bus lights which adds to light pollution making it difficult to see the sky as well as the cars on the highway passing with bright lights every 30 seconds. I’d recommend going with a smaller mini-van that may improve your chances as you’d have more agile access to better areas. The bus itself was comfortable and we were safe driving through dark, snowy highway so that’s a plus.

Disappointing - Comfortable bus, adequate information, however quite disappointing, because other toura canceled yesterday due to weather conditions, and I found it strange, but I can see what made the right decision, since they did not play with the illusions of people during the tour, even it was quite risky, many cars stranded along the way, we had to be in a hurry all the time, and to finish my disappointment horrible photos, I really feel sad and very disappointed. When I have the time, I'll file a formal complaint. Finally add that the only thing they gave us was a hot chocolate, being that the description indicated something else.

NULLISSIME, FLEE - We made an emergency reservation at Northern Lights Safari , following the cancellation of our small group safari, the guide having fallen ill. First of all, we need to know how it goes: more than 400 people are gathered, and distributed in 8 buses (about 56 people per bus) according to the language spoken. At the end of our journey we saw the Northern Lights, and the guide was applauded .... but I abstained. Why then???? Because I had downloaded the free AURORA app, which gives the chances of seeing aurora, but also provides the cloud cover map. What could we see on this map? A band of cloud vertical to Tromso; to the west the whole coast was clear, from Sommaroy to Tromvik; and to the east was also clear, further on the Finnish border. Guess which direction the guide chose? The South! So we drove for 1h30/2h south, just under the cloud cover. It was snowing. Then we went north, still under thick clouds. At the microphone, the guide informs us that we are heading towards Finland, and boasts the birch-covered plateaus.... So we go up , slant very slightly to the east, and stop just before the Finnish border, under snow and clouds. I ask the guide, showing her the map, insisting that 20km further, there were no more clouds... she replies that she can go no further.... Conclusion: stopped along the road, overlooking the bus and the mountains of dirty snow accumulated here by the plows. After 3/4 hours, a short lightening, and finally some dawns, around 11:30-0h... Back at 2 o'clock in Tromso, happy customers, they had the portrait taken in front of a dawn.... And to think that if we had chosen the west coast, from 7:30 p.m. we could have contemplated the stars and aurora .... In conclusion, either Blandine our guide is stupid , or the 8 buses are tasked to separate to avoid the mass effect (400 to 450 people gathered on a rest area, that's a lot ...), or even that they are assigned by the management a precise stop point (for safety reasons, because there are not many places by the roadside where a bus can park, safely let out its passengers, and turn around) , .... In short, it was shabby, for the modest sum of 102.31€ per person ....
