Northern Lights hunting is a must if you are going to Tromso - Hunting auroras needs a little luck. We managed to look dim and it was beautiful. An unmissable experience. I recommend very good dress, little expectation and patience. Although we really liked the experience and the guidance, we considered that the photos did not look very good, the sky looked fictional green. I recommend taking your own photos. The campfire was a 10/10.

Able to cross the Aurora off our bucket list! - I booked with Amazing Arctic Tours for 2 primary reasons: 1) it offered small group tour in minivan, which is able to reach out of the way places that large tour buses cannot, thus improving the likelihood of seeing the Aurora. 2) it was a better value than other small group tours. Many others were $300-$600/person, likely because they include a driver and guide that provide a lot of commentary, and a fancier minivan. We were happy with fewer frills - older Ford mini-van with broken armrest and front seat that was converted into 2 very tiny seats. And we were happy with our driver/guide, Monsoor. Significant cloud cover the night of our tour meant we would have to drive 2-3 hours, into Finland. Monsoor was not daunted and 1-2 hours into trip he spotted the Aurora. We were underwhelmed as we could only see what looked like rows of clouds to the naked eye but photos revealed the colors of the Aurora. Four hours into trip, we accepted that we would not cross the Aurora off our bucket list since we had not viewed its beautiful colors with the naked eye but we were wrong. Thanks to Monsoor, who kept driving into Finland, down sparse roads, we found the beautiful Aurora. Aside from a couple campers, we were the only people there, next to a lake, with the Aurora dancing all around! We were able to cross the Aurora off our bucket list. Monsoor patiently took many photos of us with the Aurora dancing in the background so we can continue to look back on this amazing experience. Many thanks Monsoor.

Highlight of our trip - Our tour Mansoor was amazing! He stopped at some beautiful locations along our trip in search of the lights. He provided us with interesting information and prepared a campfire. We waited patiently, and fortunately managed to see an amazing aurora. Thanks Mansoor for going going out of your way to chase the lights and give us an amazing experience. Definitely the highlight of our trip.

We will definitely come back - We had a fantastic Aurora tour with Mansoor. Very friendly and helpful, you can feel his enthusiasm for the Northern Lights. Our children were also totally fascinated. In addition, he is an extremely good driver even in heavy snow drifts. We felt very safe. Thanks for a magical and wonderful aurora night.

Best your ever - Mansoor was brilliant! We saw incredible lights, got to learn a lot about the local history and the science behind aurora. Final stop was a fire pit, marshmallows, hot berry juice and Norwegian cakes! Canny recommend these guys enough - you are never guaranteed anything when it comes to the Northern lights but they made sure we took advantage when they shone through

A pretty good aurora tour - Aram from Amazing Arctic was a very pleasant and hardworking tour guide, and was a safety-minded driver. He seemed genuinely interested in offering the typical aurora package, which seems to be centered around selfies. I appreciated the maneuverability that a minibus offers. He did a good job of delivering us to a dark place with clear skies, just as he intended. Thank you Aram!

Good guide, mediocre infra - Pros - the guide really wants to give you the best experience and will try his best that you see the lights Cons - 1. He drives the bus way too fast for comfort. He may be experienced but driving on icy roads at that speed is hazardous. 2. There is only 1 guide who is also the driver which was rather inconvenient as an experience. 3. The tour is different from promised in the email - there is no pickup from hotel, there is no hot chocolate, rather an odd tasting purple tea of sorts is offered. 4. The bus is not in a good condition. We drove in a bigger bus with another group and felt warm enough while inside the bus. But with amazing arctic, given that the guide is the driver, he would turn off the engine and step down. Anyone inside the bus was left feeling extremely cold. Even with the heater on, the bus just didn't feel warm enough. Simply upgrading the infra and adding another driver/guide will enhance the experience manifold.
