Depart from Tromsø city to avoid light pollution and travel towards ideal spots in the Arctic landscape.
The guide will keep an eye on weather forecasts and cloud cover, sharing insights about the Northern Lights and welcoming questions about life in this unique Arctic region.
Make stops along the route to observe the skies, searching for stars in the dark Arctic night, which indicate breaks in the cloud cover and the chance to see the Northern Lights.

• Troms - Aurora Spotting and Camp Setup (2:00 - 3:30 hours)

Once a suitable location is found, stop to admire the Northern Lights as they illuminate the Arctic sky.
The guide will assist with photography, helping you capture your own images, and will also take professional photos to share after the tour. The driver will also engage during the stop, ensuring everything runs smoothly and participating in conversations.
Depending on the conditions, set up a cozy campfire or use a grill hut to provide warmth and enhance the atmosphere.
Enjoy hot drinks and local snacks as you soak in the beauty of the Arctic night and await more magical moments.

• Tromsø - Return Journey and Drop-off (3:30 - 5:00 hours)
  Pack up and begin the return drive to Tromsø.
  Drop-off at the pick-up point in Tromsø city center, Kirkegata 2, or at hotels in the city center.

Each evening offers a unique experience as the tour adapts to the night’s conditions, traveling along the coast, through valleys, or even into Finland in pursuit of clear skies.

When the aurora graces the sky, the guide captures professional photos of guests under the lights and offers photography tips. Throughout the tour, guests will hear tales of Arctic life and learn about the science behind the aurora, all while enjoying hot drinks, a light snack, and homemade cake. When conditions permit, a cozy bonfire is lit.

• This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 12.
• The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and sightings are not guaranteed. Please note that no refunds are provided if the Northern Lights are not visible during the tour.
• The tour operates in most weather conditions, but if we have to cancel due to safety reasons, we will offer you an alternative date if possible, or a full refund.
• We usually make 1-2 restroom stops during the tour, depending on our route. In remote areas without facilities, you may need to use nature discreetly if necessary. Please use the restroom before we depart.
• Alcohol is not permitted during the tour. Guests who appear visibly intoxicated may be refused participation without a refund.
