Dedicated driver and guide - Evgeni and Kuhn were our driver and guide. They went out of their way to try and find a spot where we would see the aurora and get some pictures. Evgeni was a very safety-minded driver, which was very important. The weather during our visit to Tromso was not the best for aurora hunting- that was just how that week went. But Evgeni and Kuhn were very mindful that we had traveled a long way for this experience and did their absolute best. Both men were very personable, which added a fun element to the night of long driving and waiting because we got to meet new people and share different cultural backgrounds.

Mia was extremely... - Mia was extremely personable and engaging. The service was prompt and we even managed a glimpse of the aurora despite the unfavorable conditions.

Great guide - Wandering Owl was very honest and efficient the day before when they contacted us to cancel our original booking due to bad weather conditions. It was super easy to reschedule for the next day. Again, conditions were far from ideal, but Anna and Adam did their very best to find gaps in the sky so that we could at least take a peek of the aurora.
Anna is nice, has a smart sense of humour and knows how to balance keeping the group entertained with just letting us enjoy the tour quietly at our pace. Best guide we had in Norway.

Following our dream - It was an amazing experience I'd for sure recommand to everybody.
After travelling for 3 hours, we arrived in Finland to find a clear sky and to see the enchanting Northern Lights. Every thing was possible thanks to the passionate guide and driver. We had a wonderful trip

Saw the aurora & still had a full nights sleep! - This was such a memorable experience! I was really keen to get away from the glow of the city lights and maximise my chances of seeing the aurora, but didn't want to spend all night in a bus. This tour was the perfect balance. The guides were super friendly and very professional. Prompt pick up, clear communication, and lots of information about the local area. Hot coffee under a green glow was a treat. Seeing the lights was a highlight of my holiday - thanks to the wandering owl team for making my dream come true!

Success and budget friendly! - Second and third night I joined this tour because it is more budget friendly. I know from talking with the office Owls that this shorter tour has lower odds than the regular one but I had success both nights.
It's a no frills tour, so you need to bring your own clothes and eat before hand.

Amazing experience - We went on a tour with Javi and Adam. They were very knowledgable and accommodating. The spots they chose were great. All in all a amazing experience. The cookies were also tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Express Aurora tour Wandering Owl - We went on the Express Aurora hunt last week and I could not recommend it enough! Pick up was at 8pm were we met our guide and driver Jodnas. It had been snowing most of the day in Tromso and it was still very cloudy so we did not expect to see the lights but Jodnas did everything he could to find us a break in the clouds and we saw the lights! We then got to watch the lights at Skibotn beach with lovely tea and cookies. Would definitely recommend.

Tomas is amazing 😁 - We had a wonderful tour with Tomas, he is an asset to your organisation! Extremely helpful, delightful, funny, insightful, and friendly and taught us heaps. He took some extremely professional photos. Safe driver as well. And was extremely high energy and made sure everyone had a great experience. He put in so much effort and went the extra mile and beyond. We can't recommend wandering owl and specifically, Tomas, enough! Thanks so much for a great evening!

Express Aurora - Long drive, disappointing refreshments
(herbal tea and an overcooked - but home made- biscuit) but the main disappointment was standing in a lay-by, next to an idling lorry ( with its lights on) by the side of a busy road to view the Northern Lights…I expected somewhere more quiet…I do appreciate that the lights appear and do their thing unpredictably, but it would have been nice to be more than 20 feet from the main road…
