Escape the crowds and join us in finding the perfect spot to witness this incredible phenomenon. Enjoy the aurora by the campfire and receive memorable photos of your experience.
We will either set up camp or travel to multiple locations based on weather conditions, Northern Lights activity, the region we are exploring, and parking availability.
- Vegetarian and vegan food options are available. Please advise at time of booking if required
- Our minibus is not wheelchair accessible.
- A current valid passport is required on the day of travel
- Some walking is required, sometimes in uneven terrain
- Minimum age for this tour is 7 years old. Note that the tour is late evening/night.
- Most people can participate, but there is some walking required from the bus to where we set up for the night

Amazing Tour - Our family had an awesome night and so blessed to have Ferenc as our guide. We are thankful that despite the weather, we had a glimpse of the Aurora. Truly a magical experience and grateful to witness it with family.
Everything was perfect, except for the weather, from the size of the tour to the delicious reindeer stew (which we bought a lot by the way) and the hot chocolate. Yes we were not able to do the bonfire but there is always a next time (hopefully).
Thanks again and you have made our Norway trip a memorable one.

Highly recommended excursion! - It was a great tour! Our guide Ferenc was very experienced, well prepared and took us to the right place despite adverse circumstances. We could experience the Northern Lights! Thank you!!

This was a good plan... - This was a good arrangement. They are knowledgeable and act like a very serious company. Got borrowed nuts, suits and shoes. Had a review before we left with what was important to know about and what we could expect since this is a natural phenomenon. Very nice guide who answered well to all questions and who took very nice pictures of us. I lit fire so we could warm up. The food was good and it was good with hot drinks next door. We were very lucky with the evening and the northern lights danced over the sky for a long time.

Magical northern lights - This is the northern lights tour you need to do. They go out of their way to find the magical lights in the sky. Professional, knowledgeable, they take amazing photos that they then share with you and also provide warm outfits and boots and delicious warm food (with veggie options).

Amazing Aurora - Really well organised and very knowledgeable guide who was also a professional photographer! Ferenc really knew his stuff and understood the weather conditions and where we needed to be. We saw the Aurora multiple times and the photos take were exceptional.
The food and drinks we also really warming, tasty and filling!
All in all it was amazing!

Wow - Amazing night! - What an amazing evening chasing the aurora! 100% would recommend. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and had so much love for the aurora that we felt she was experiencing it with us for the first time! Exceptionally cold, so would recommend hand and feet warmers alongside the rest of the kit they provide. We had a fire by a frozen lake and ate reindeer stew (very nice !) from freeze dried meal pouches. The aurora really delivered and our tour guide did a great job of keeping up with the best spots and making sure we didn’t miss a moment.

Fantastic tour from start to finish with incredible views of the northern lights!!!! - This was our first time in Tromso and we really wanted to see the Northern Lights so we booked a tour with Arctic Adventure Tours. We were extremely well looked after by Klara, our friendly and knowledgeable guide, and Kjell-Oddvar, who drove us expertly through the snow-covered landscape. It was a nice group of people on the bus. Luckily we took the snowsuits and boots provided with us as it did get very cold later on (-14 degrees). We were very fortunate to see some incredible aurora shows in four different locations over a period of 6-7 hours. Klara and Kjell-Oddvar knew some great spots, especially the one down by a fjord where we had some warm food & drink around a much welcome campfire. Just to round off this fantastic experience, we also had a little visit from a reindeer on our last stop! Steph & Alex (UK)

Excellent tour! - Our guide, Ferenc, and driver, Svein, were terrific. They made sure we were comfortable and prepared for the cold. We initially had clouds, but they cleared and we had a wonderful show of northern lights. Ferenc did a wonderful job of explaining the northern lights and Svein was always cheerful when I asked to be let in the van to warm up a bit (which was often). They took us to a place that had no one else there, so it felt a bit more private and special. Excellent tour!

Magnificent Aurora tour - We had a magnificent tour with Ferenc and Kjell Oddvar, who drove us safely through the snow to a spot with clear skies. Ferenc went above and beyond to make this tour a special experience, and he succeeded! We also got some beautiful photos of and with the Aurora, he is indeed a very skilled photographer and a knowledgeable yet humble guide.
