- Troms - Observing the Northern Lights requires spending extended periods outdoors in cold winter conditions. It is advisable to dress in very warm layers, ideally wool, and wear winter boots. Thermal overalls and snow boots are available for borrowing.
Please be aware that photographs often depict the colors of the Northern Lights as more vivid than they appear to the naked eye.

Tromso Travel is a family-run local business that values both our guests and the environment. We have our own Basecamp, known as the Wilderness. If the weather and solar activity are favorable, we head to the Basecamp. There, you can enjoy a campfire, storytelling, snacks, and hot beverages while waiting for the Northern Lights to appear.
Our Northern Lights adventure may take us to various locations to ensure the best viewing conditions. Occasionally, we even venture across the Finnish border. During the tour, we provide snacks and hot beverages, and if the weather allows, we light a campfire.
