Super welcome, food, reindeer and grand final aurora - It was a lot of fun and well organized. We were not in a small van as per the listing but a coach with 25-30 people. Everything went perfectly. Sami welcome, possibility of snacks and hot drinks independently, half an hour of play and feeding with reindeer and then a delicious dinner (authorized encore) with story of local history and culture. Grand finale then we went out and 'we also found a beautiful aurora, the very dark place lends itself very well. There are many bonfires and heated tents for those suffering from the cold.

Come for the reindeer feeding, stay for the delicious food and insights about local culture. - This was a fun family experience for me, my husband and our 11yo son. Getting to the reindeer camp was like driving through a snow globe - all part of the adventure. On arrival we were greeted by our Saami guide, Anna, and led to the welcoming and warm lavvo (Saami tent). Once settled, we headed out to feed the reindeers in the nearby field. We spent almost an hour with the reindeer. They were gentle with us, although not afraid to chase each other out of the way for the best feed buckets! Next, was a delicious meal in the tent, with option to eat either reindeer or a vegetable stew. Bread, cookies and hot drinks were also provided. Lastly, Anna gave us a really interesting insight into many aspects of Saami culture: how they heard reindeer, changes and challenges from climate change and explanations about Saami dress across different regions of Lapland. The tour exceeded our expectations and was a fun and interesting experience in Norway.

Can improve - Large group of people waiting at the meeting point without clear instructions. there was another group of people feeding the reindeer before us, I believe the reindeer were full and walk away from us very soon, there were more people inside than reindeer. It was boring during dinner as the share of Sami culture was after dinner. Good thing is you can see the reindeer closely & the share of Sami culture is interesting.

Value for money to improve - Pleasant experience overall with Sami guide engaging in his tales. However, the proposed price appears to be exaggerated for the services provided (about half an hour feeding the reindeer, a reindeer soup with hot drinks and about half an hour of storytelling).

Don’t be 4 minutes late - Zero late policy. We were 4 minutes late due to traffic and tried to meet and contact tour operator. No contact. We were so sad this was our valentines date.

Guide was no show - Could not find tour guide outside Radison Blu where told to meet. We were there at 1740, walked a block in either direction and waited in cold for 40 min, then gave up. Will cancel payment on card.
