Great tour, close encounters with reindeer. - Very well organized tour, plenty of time to feed the reindeer, the sled is fun, too. Beautiful scenery. Authentic Sami tents available with fire, tea, coffee and cookies, as well as lunch. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved this... - We absolutely loved this tour! The reindeer were friendly and ready for you to feed them. The sledding portion was my favorite part, in addition to the hot soup and Sami culture.

The best tour - we loved it - We absolutely loved our Sami guide and all the reindeer. The reindeer were extremely friendly and photogenic : ) Our Sami guide told wonderful stories and answered all our questions and was so unbelievably patient with the rude visitor that answered a phone call from the front row and kept talking!!!

Highly recommended. - This was a lot more fun than we expected. You get to go very close to the reindeer (abt 300 of them) and interact with them by feeding them. The setting is beautiful. The reason why this herd is here in winter is cos the reindeer need to be fed during winter in recent times cos of ice layers. So this is a way to preserve the reindeer herd which is part of the Sami culture. The Sami culture talk and food were interesting and were really well delivered. I learnt something!

Unique experience - It was a day full of reindeer! sled by one, fed another, and even had reindeer for lunch. 😄 It was one of the most unique experiences I’ve ever had, and everything was very well organized. Was interesting to learn and know more about Sami culture from the folks themselves.

Pretty expensive for what you’re getting! - Very different than what I expected. The reindeer sled ride was barely 15 minutes. Feeding the reindeer was nice. The bus driver who drove us was really rude. Overall, pretty expensive for what you’re getting.

Great Sami stories, poor organization. - The location is nice, overall the experience is cool. The history of the Sami and stories were very interesting. However, the organization of the company is bad. I was tempted to give less of a review because of this. They were not very communicative, they did not explain what we needed to do, we could barely hear anything as they didnt seem to care enough. When we arrived we were not sure if we were feeding the reindeer first or going on the reindeer sled. They really didnt seem to care about anything they just responded, sure. The food was very good and the Sami stories made it worth it, the Sami history and stories were great and the Sami telling the stories as well. After everything was done there was a snowstorm and it was freezing, they were rushing us saying that the bus was ready, but then let us stand waiting freezing in the storm for over 10 mts, we could have left the warm camp when the bus was actually there, as it took less than 2 minutes to walk to it. Just again awful organization. Unfortunately, next time I would use another company, nothing againts the Sami owners more on the company "organizing it".
