During this tour, the guide will showcase Trondheim’s must-see attractions. Participants will discover the city’s rich history and fascinating legends.
The guide will lead the group past the impressive Nidaros Cathedral, known as the birthplace of Christianity in Norway. Please note that the entrance ticket is not included.
The tour includes crossing the historic bridge, also known as the “happiness portal,” to explore Trondheim’s charming old quarter with its vibrant houses. In this area, the guide will highlight the world’s only bicycle elevator. The journey continues to Solsiden, a former shipyard that has transformed into a lively district while maintaining its industrial charm. On the return, there will be a stop at Stiftsgården, the Norwegian royal family’s summer residence, concluding at Trondheim’s central square with the grand statue of the city’s founder, Olav Trygvasson.
