Great Trip and there were Turtles - Absolutely loved this trip. Deepak our driver/guide was friendly & very knowledgeable. The drive to Trou Beach passed so quickly as he gave us lots of information on the areas we passed through. The guys on the boat to the lagoon were friendly & helpful too. They pointed out where the turtles were so we could snorkel across to them. We saw two turtles, whilst in the water, who swam around us & another one from the boat. The chicken noodles at Balaclava Marina were excellent, really tasty. We then travelled back to Port Louis for tea tasting & then onto the market. After parking on the sea front, Deepak gave us lots of information about Port Louis on the walk to the market. Once at the market, we had pineapple with Tamarin, Dhal Puri & a compressed milk sweet dessert & a drink called Alouda(?) which was condensed milk, strawberry & chia seeds with a blob of ice cream - absolutely delicious! We then drove to a souvenir shop where we bought a wooden dodo, flavoured rum & other items. We then travelled back to our hotel, again being given lots of interesting information. I would definitely recommend this trip & if you are lucky enough to get Deepak as your driver, it will be an amazing excursion.

Babu and Ale imour driver... - Babu and Ale imour driver were great. Good choices of food spots. Transport was very convenient and everything was well organised. Good local food choices especially the noodles on the first stop. The turtle viewing was very good but maybe slightly crowded may have been better going earlier on the morning, but that is by no fault of the tour as they really organised it well, it just depends on the season and seeing a turtle swim underneath me a couple of times was a wonderful experience.

Wonderful day out. - Fantastic day out. Was picked up at our hotel at time specified by our driver and guide for the day Deepak. We went on a short drive and went for our swim with the turtles. You are instructed not to touch or dive down to the turtles. We were lucky to arrive early enough so there was only a few people in the water. The boat trip is only 5 mins from the beach. After this we started our guided street food tour. Everything was delicious. Time in the city was fab. Deepak, our guide was fantastic, very helpful and accommodating. The whole trip lasted about 5.5 hours.

Our amazing day with Deepak. - Swimming with the turtle 🐢 and fish was amazing, beautiful views, the fried noodles were so tasty (my favourite meal so far) viewpoints were great and the Tea distillery Kuanfu Tea was lovely too, really interesting, our driver Deepak was very lovely and very accommodating.

Perfect day out! - My husband and i just got back from our tour with Deebak. It was so so perfect! We loved swimming with the dolphins - we stopped off on our way to Port Louis for fried noodle street food. Deebak showed us around the city and told us about its history and politics. The food and drinks were all amazing, we loved everything we tried. We also went tea tasting which was wonderful. If you’re new to Mauritius and would like to get an authentic feel for the culture, I really recommend this tour. Deebak is really friendly and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. I recommend bringing your own snorkel and towel. 10/10 experience!

Great day out - Brilliant day trip, Deepak was our driver - he was informative and friendly. He took us around the street food market, explained the local foods to us and got us lots of things to sample. Turtles - boat trip was ideal, was driven to the beach and then taken onto a boat with a group of about 10 other people. Out in the water for around half an hour which was the right amount of time, changing rooms were then available before heading to Port Louis. It was made clear that its a natural experience and seeing the turtles isn’t guaranteed but we were lucky that one was out and about! Definitely recommend, great for the price

Trou au biches tour - Deepak was a great guide and took me to the market to try some foods then to Port Adelaide as called by the French. Finally to the beach with a swim with a turtle. Although the turtle was by itself it was beautiful and a great experience. Deepak was good company and very knowledgeable

See Mauritius through the eyes of a Mauritian. - Mauritius is a very nice island to visit. Naboo and Deepak were great, we got a taste of local culture and food. If your looking for an experience outside of the tourist locals, this is a must.

Saw much more than expected - What an amazing trip! Saw much more than expected. Little feeling of a ‚private‘ tour with your own driver. We would do it again. Nothing more to say - thank you!

Turtle swim and street food - One word, amazing!!!!! FOR the turtle swim! Top of my wish list and well worth it. This part definitely a 5! However, The guide was not the best, and although we loved the noodle stand we were disappointed with the street food in Port Louis, 2 stands only and no explanation of how the market worked or any Chinese food. If this half of the tour had been my main focus,it would score 2. The boat guide was amazing for the swim and scooped us up a couple of times to drop us off back with a turtle.
