Chan Chan - We visit archeological site of Chan Chan, declared the largest ancient city in South America. As the former center of Chimu politics and commerce, the 7-square-mile (18-sq-km) site boasts shrines, cemeteries, ceremonial plazas and reservoirs. Tour all of the significant features with your guide, discovering architectural precision and delving deeper into its ancient history.
After the archeological visit we will be visiting the museum where you could find all the artefacts that were found on Chan Chan. - Playa de Huanchaco - And last but no least we have a look at one of the most colorful tows of Trujillo, Huanchaco Beach well know for its surfer lifestyle and “caballitos de totora” the ancient boat of the fisherman’s that are use until today.

Good attitude first and foremost forecast - Despite being late (because of external problems) they were kind enough to wait for me. The guides always showed good attitude and energy, and since I went alone, they helped me take pictures haha. We had a few more incidents during the trip, but it did not spoil my experience.

Just go - Everything was amazing, from the sea trip to watch penguins and dolphins to the part we were riding desert dunes at sunset.

Great Huacas del sol y la luna and Chan Chan tour. - Fantastic tour to visit the archaeological sites of Trujillo. Marica has a big knowledge about the history and learned us a lot about Moche and Chimu civilization.

Great value! - This was the best money spent on an all day tour with a lunch break. This was my first time in Trujillo. Olga was a fantastic Spanish speaking tour guide. She is knowledgeable and clearly passionate about history. Bring water and a hat or buy some from local vendors along the way/at various stops.

Interesting and amazing. - The tour explanation did not say it was a long walking tour. Not an issue for us but a number of elders from our ship had trouble. It was 95 degrees and the guide estimated we walked about 3 miles. And the bus did not have working AC. But it was a very educational and enjoyable day.

Great guides, sketch operation - Our guide, Maritza, was fantastic - we loved her and her energy, love for, and knowledge of the huacas and Chan Chan. The rest of the operation was sketch. The bus was not air conditioned, it seemed like there were several tours on 1 bus, and at least 1.5 hours of the tour were spent sitting out standing around waiting. Not driving from site to site, waiting … to do something.
