Trujillo - Pick up from accommodation in Trujillo around 10am. We will go to the pyramid of the Sun and the Moon are located. Upon entering this area we can appreciate the huge walls that make up the Huaca del Sol and almost half a kilometer we will see the imposing Huaca de La Luna.
Our tour will take place in the Huaca de La Luna, for which it will be necessary to climb a slope of steps until you arrive at the front door. Then we will enter with our local guide and go through the different levels of the pyramid.
Here we can appreciate the spectacular friezes of the god Aia-paec adorned with beautiful colors. It is said that many of the images on the walls were related to the rites and ceremonies that were practiced there. According to the archaeologists in the Pyramid of the Moon, the Moches consulted oracles and offered human sacrifices, which are easily visible through the friezes found there. Return to the city of Trujillo at 13:00h. Drop off at Trujillo main square.
