- Komli • კომლი - Enjoy a traditional dining experience with our lunch and dinner menu, crafted from locally sourced, trusted products from partner farms in our village. Meals are served on the expansive terrace of our 150-year-old house, offering a stunning panoramic view of Gomis Mta (Lesser Caucasus Mountains dividing Guria and Adjara), often revealed under clear blue skies. The terrace ensures comfort and shelter even if it rains, with blankets available for added warmth. Each dish is lovingly prepared under the guidance of our Chef and the family’s eldest member, Grandma Meri (Meri bebo). Our menu includes a variety of salads, seasoned vegetables, meat and vegetarian-friendly dishes, pastries, and local sauces, complemented by traditional beverages like honey vodka and wine from indigenous grapes. The meal concludes with a delightful dessert. An experienced toastmaster will lead guests in making toasts to family, love, friendship, and all that is cherished in the true Georgian Supra tradition.

Georgia Supra is central to Georgian culture, and without experiencing it, one might miss the essence of Georgia. According to elders, since the 12th century, Georgia has had three main academies: Gelati Academy in Kutaisi, Ikalto Academy, and the Academy of Supra. This is where the youth learn about significant values, along with food and wine. Supra translates to “fest” and represents the art of celebration, whether for a wedding, birthday, birth, or simply for the joy of celebrating.
Supra follows certain rules:
- The head of the Supra, known as the Tamada, is appointed;
- The Tamada proposes themes for toasts, inviting everyone to participate (without pressure);
- There are several obligatory toasts, with a specific order;
- Toasts should be as creative as possible, resembling novels and poems;
- White wine is traditionally consumed at a Supra, with vodka being rare and beer never served. Singing is integral to the Georgian Supra, offering the opportunity to hear the finest trio from Guria.
