Day 1: Saigon - Cai Be - Vinh Long - Ben Tre (Lunch/Dinner)

Day 1: Saigon - Cai Be - Vinh Long - Ben Tre (Lunch/Dinner)
Cai Be Floating Market - In the morning, the shuttle will transport participants out of town on an approximately 2-hour drive to Cai Lay. Here, bicycles will be collected for a leisurely two-hour ride along tranquil country lanes and quiet roads, passing through local villages and alongside canals.
Participants will board a boat to visit the Cai Be floating market and cruise across the expansive Mekong River (approximately 1.5 km wide) to Binh Hoa Phuoc Island. After enjoying lunch, the cruise will continue down the Mekong River to the Cho Lach canals. A short cycling journey on small paths under the lush green canopy, mostly shared with pedestrians, local cyclists, and scooters, will allow for the exploration of nursery gardens, fruit orchards, and the daily lives of farmers. Returning to the boat, the cruise will proceed for another hour to Ben Tre for the night. Overnight homestay.
Day 2: Ben Tre to Saigon (Breakfast, Lunch)
Ben Tre Province - Following breakfast, cycling will commence on backcountry roads alongside the river, offering a glimpse into the daily lives of locals and the feeling of being lost on winding roads under the green coconut canopy. The journey will also cross the Ba Lai River, a smaller branch of the Mekong, to visit local workshops producing various coconut products for which Ben Tre is renowned, such as coconut candy, coconut pandan waffle, sponge cake, and more. The bike ride will continue towards Ham Luong Bridge, with lunch at a local home.
After lunch, participants can enjoy a hammock siesta or walk through a local village to visit a farmer’s house breeding fighting cocks. If energy allows, another 10 km bike ride can be taken to visit a broom-making workshop, a forge, and a coconut peeling workshop. The group will then board a boat for a cruise down the bustling Ham Luong branch into a serene canal, including a rowing boat trip along narrow canals, to Ben Tre center, where they will be picked up and transferred back to Saigon.
