Highly Recommended - A fantastic day exploring the National Park and the beauty of Cat Ba. Huge thank you to our guide Anh for leading the way and looking after us so well. Not only did he ensure we were comfortable, fed & hydrated, he pointed out many beautiful animals along the way too. To top off the experience, Anh put together a wonderful 4 minute video capturing the the whole day. It was natural and beautifully edited, with a mix of nature shots and us as a group. Thank you Anh for an incredibly memorable experience, one I'll remember for a lifetime.

Amazing tour guide! - Anh was an amazing tour guide! My friend and I did the full day and it was a lot but Anh made it much more enjoyable and safe! I will say, the hike is hard and long especially in the heat. There is also some amount of rock climbing. Make sure you are confirmable with that before going!

Trek/cycle/boat tour - The trek was harder than anticipated but it was still thoroughly enjoyable. Anh was a great tour guide throughout and he made a little film of the day too. The actual tour is great - it was lovely finishing the day on the boat and getting to do additional activities such as kayaking and cycling as well as the trek. The lunch was also delicious! I highly recommend but just a note that the trek isn’t an easy walk - be ready to scramble and rock climb!

Beautiful Full Day tour in Ca Ba National Park - I took the tour June 12 with Anh and had an amazing time. I was part of a group of 5 people. I was picked up from my hotel. We first stopped at a small museum just inside the National Park where Anh showed us a map of the park and the plan for the day. Anh made sure we had plenty of water, sunscreen and bug spray. The tour brought us across five peaks to climb with beautiful views. As we climbed Anh stopped to point out various things of interest and took many photos. It’s a challenging hike but Anh is patient and encouraging all the way to the end. The hike ended in a small fishing village where we had a delicious lunch. Anh then gave us the option of either a bike or electric car (we chose the latter) ride to the pier, had a boat ride, spent some time kayaking and swimming before returning back to the hotel. A great day I will not forget!

Amazing hiking adventure - Ang was a great guide and made for an amazing experience. My wife and I were joined up with 4 other strangers and had a blast. The trail was certainly challenging but rewarding. Riding a private boat through the bay was such a novel experience as well as the kayaking and swimming. Ang even put together an excellently produced highlight video of our trip for each member to keep. Would recommend this to any couple or solo traveler that's at least reasonably fit and unafraid to try something new.

I also felt a very happy Island Forest Park hike on the weekend I came to work. - Anh was my guide this time and I also added the project contact details in advance to confirm the driver's pick-up time on Zalo. It was a very hot day on June 1, and we entered the Cat Ba National Forest Park from under 9am, climbing five slopes in between, the last three almost entirely filled with large rocks. My guide was more than willing to help me relieve the weight of the heat and fatigue, carrying my school bag and preparing compressed biscuits and oranges for clients to recharge on the way. In addition to that, Anh is a great guide who loves the island environment and picks up and takes away empty bottles whenever he comes across a resting point. Anh is also a great guide who loves photography and he shoots a lot of footage for us, as well as more wildlife, spider lizard snails and so on. We meet 2 snakes and he is keenly aware of their presence and stands in front of us. There was also a bunch of Australian Vietnamese couples who started travelling together, but since Ms Kim was physically unable to make the early return journey down the mountain, I had been the only one climbing the mountain with the Anh guide since the second mountain. We met two teams of companions in the process, one with two teams of Chinese couples and one with two Europeans, very strong and fast on foot, very experienced. It was just after 1pm after the hike, and we had a long break in the small village down the hill, where toilets were provided to cool down, a pick-up truck came to take us to the port, a very lovely boat was made to enjoy the view and the breeze at sea, and after about an hour's boat ride we got to the port in the small town of Cat Ba because my shuttle back to Hanoi was 4pm, and Anh quickly found a car to take me to the agency waiting area for the bus. The nine-hour trip was really full and very much what I expected, I am very grateful for the help and guidance of the Anh Guide and as a new friend I also love so much the people who love nature. But I also want to give you some advice: 1. Do not go hiking beyond 30 degrees, very hot; 2. It is not recommended for those who have not climbed the mountain on foot, and the uplink and rocky sections are particularly testing of physical fitness; 3. Even if the guide will provide some help with food and fruit, I hope you can bring 2 bottles of water, 2 flat electrolyte drinks, and bagged jelly in advance will be a very good way to replenish sugar. 4. If there is experience of seasickness be sure to bring the seasickness medicine in advance, the boat at sea will carry for one hour, may be seasick. 5. Wear quick-drying short sleeves, with anti-heatstroke cooling spray, wear good ice sleeves, good hat, mosquitoes recommend wearing trousers, backpack important not too heavy, with charging treasure.
