Great tour and guide.... - Great tour and guide. Having lunch included was a nice bonus. We learned about the history and explored waterfalls and abandoned buildings from the war.

A great experience. - With a wealth of personal experience and in-depth knowledge of the mountain and it's surroundings, my guide, who had lived on the mountain for 2 years, was able to provide some fantastic insights into the mountains history and wildlife. With such an intimate knowledge of the area we traveled to a number of locations with stunning views and architectural buildings.

Rory is great! - Rory is great! He showed me many interesting things. I especially loved the temple. Make sure to bring a jacket, as it can get cold ob the mountain.

Mysteriously foggy during rainy season. Be ready for the cold and the rain. Enjoy a nice homemade meal. - Wat Sompov Pram is a beautiful and unique temple to visit. It has stunning views and beautiful sculptures. We did the trip on a very foggy day, typical of the rainy season. That lent itself for a mysterious aura. It was very interesting. However, during the rainy season, be ready for the cold temperature, the rain and a lesser chance of seeing faraway sights or the Popokvil Waterfall. The food offered by Roy's family was delicious, and Roy himself very patient and kind, allowing us to look and walk around without rush and answering our questions. We do not regret going during the rain and fog, but will likely come back in better weather.

Funnily enough although... - Funnily enough although we booked two separate tours Roy was our guide for both! His english, driving and attentiveness were impeccable for both tours. Bokor itself is an interesting place to see - perhaps not what you would initially be expecting however very interesting nonetheless

Through the National Park with the Local - We had some nice stops during our drive through the national park, monkeys that greeted us briefly at the roadside and a wonderful guide, Roy, who climbed with us to the waterfall and had lunch for us. Trekking shoes are useful for the remaining 20 minutes on the way to the waterfall, as a few climbing skills are required here.

Overall okay - The visiting place was very nice, and I really enjoyed the experience overall. However, my day-long package was completed much earlier than expected — by around 1:30 PM local time, even though it was supposed to last the whole day. It felt a bit rushed, as the guide consistently suggested we only spend a few minutes at each site. I believe the visit would have been more enjoyable and worthwhile if more time had been allocated at each location, especially since there was no real reason to rush. Extending the time at each stop would have allowed for a more relaxed and fulfilling experience. I hope this feedback can help improve future tours.

nice view with cold weather and rain - Bokor Mountain (Kampot, Cambodia) is a popular destination praised on TripAdvisor for its cool climate, scenic views, and historic French colonial ruins like the old casino and Catholic church. Visitors enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, jungle drive, and panoramic lookouts. Guided tours are recommended. Downsides include unpredictable weather and ongoing development in some areas. Overall, it's considered a worthwhile day trip.

View at bokor - Good view with cloud and so chilling. Don't forget to bring any jacket if you are cold or you will be shaking. There's strawberry farm there also and you can come and visit there. Not brining any guide there
