• El Castillo - Also known as the Temple of Kukulcán, El Castillo is a prominent Mesoamerican step-pyramid located at the heart of the Chichen Itza archaeological site in Yucatán, Mexico. Archaeologists formally refer to this pyramid as Chichen Itza Structure 5B18.

• Tzompantli - Known as the Platform of Skulls, Tzompantli is a Toltec structure at Chichen Itza where the heads of sacrificial victims were displayed.
• Cenote Ik kil - The Sacred Cenote, or Sacred Well, is a revered site at Chichen Itza, also called the Well of Sacrifice. It embodies the core of Mayan beliefs and fears. Cenotes are water bodies formed by the limestone plain covering much of the Yucatán Peninsula, appearing as rivers, pools, or streams beneath the limestone surface.
• Temple of the Warriors - Resembling an elaborate wedding cake, the Temple of Warriors features three thick tiers at the base with a small temple on top. At the stairway’s base, around 200 columns depict Toltec warriors in various scenes carved on each side.
• The Ossuary - Situated among plazas, platforms, and a cenote, this pyramid is linked to the Lords of Chichen Itza dynasty.

El Osario, or the Ossuary, is named for the numerous human and animal bones discovered on site. Also known as the High Priest’s Grave, it is a smaller version of El Castillo, with four staircases and a height of about 9 meters. It features designs similar to those on the Temple of Warriors and Venus Platforms.

• El Caracol - El Caracol is one of Chichen Itza’s intriguing structures. Atop this building are the remains of what was once a cylindrical observatory.

• Las Monjas - The impressive structure to your right is Las Monjas, or the Nunnery, possibly one of the largest buildings in Chichen Itza. Rebuilt multiple times, it contains more chambers and flats than other structures.

A notable feature of the Las Monjas complex is the extensive texts that nearly cover the entire place.

• Tulum Archaeological Site - Tulum Ruins, Tulum Walls, and Cenote, House of Columns
• Casa Cenote - Don’t let the stunning ocean view distract from this captivating structure. It comprises two rooms, one accessible from the entrance, with the other branching from the western offshoot within the wall’s construction.
• Tulum - The Temple of the Wind is among the most fascinating structures. It sits atop a cliff, with its single doorway facing north, overlooking a group of small shrines on the hillside.

The round platforms here indicate a temple dedicated to the Wind God.

• El Castillo - The largest structure in Tulum is the 40-foot Pyramid of The Castle (El Castillo), standing on a rocky bluff of equal height. This structure follows the pattern of other renowned Mayan architecture, built in multiple phases.

• Temple of the Frescoes - Welcome to the Temple of Frescoes. This two-story building, with its modest proportions, holds significant archaeological importance. It is the most richly decorated and elaborately painted structure on this site.

• Tulum Beach - The ruins are embraced by a rugged coastline offering breathtaking views of turquoise waters and sandy beaches. The cliffs on which the ruins stand create a mesmerizing effect on visitors.
