• Casa Cenote - The first significant landmark you’ll encounter is Casa Cenote. Upon entering, you’ll find yourself in an entirely different world.
• Platforma Funeraria - To the left stands the Platforma Funeraria, where the ancient Mayans performed their funeral rituals. Before burial or cremation, the Mayans placed maize in the mouth of the deceased. This served as sustenance for their journey to the next world and symbolized life and rebirth.

• Great Platform - Continue past the platform and stop in front of the ruins of a house on the right. This is Casa del Noreste, or the Northwest House, which would have been home to important members of Mayan society.
