Above expectations - I booked this tour last minute to join some friends. I have to say everything perfect. From the friendliness at the meeting point, to the trip together with the always friendly and helpful Mexican guide, up to the restaurant where I ate real Mexican cuisine. I paid the entrance to Chichen Itzá directly as indicated thanks to the guide who made me avoid the line. Cenote Saamal and Valladolid two added values in the day tour. Really excellent value for money.

Great Tour, but be aware! - Tour was great, but communication with iTour representatives over fees was difficult, resulting in aggressive exchange morning of trip. We were accused of “taking advantage of hardworking people” when I was told over WhatsApp that $35 funds would be collected in MXN and not USD. (This was my first time to Mexico and I asked in advance because I wanted to be certain. The Viator website as of today does not specify). The owner honored what we were told, but Luca sent a rude/aggressive message accusing us AND another worker on the ground had a yelling match with my friend. We are two women traveling in Tulum for a girls trip and it was a trying and scary start to the day. We were left questioning our safety. Luckily, the owner reassured us. Once on the trip it was a wonderful cultural experience. The tour guide seemed to be part of a different group, and he and the driver were wonderful. Just beware and aware! iTour will send you numerous communications over WhatsApp from multiple people. I, unfortunately, only communicated back and forth with Luca, when the owner’s initial message when I booked weeks ago explaining that 1400 MXN needed to be paid in addition to what is paid over Viator, slipped through the cracks. He’s a good man to honor what we were told by Luca…but the iTour workers are questionable.
