Fantastic private tour, way above expectations. - This was such a great and fun day. Everyone had a fantastic time. Joshua our guide was so knowledgeable, we learnt a lot about the Maya culture as well as about the sites we visited. We also talked about modern Mexico. Rodrigo the driver was so attentive, always a step ahead of us, parking the car at the right location to pick and drop us up, stopping for our children’s numerous toilets breaks, making sure we had cool drinks. I cannot recommend enough this company for fantastic private tours. We really felt like VIP.

10 out of 10, highly recommend, would use Absolute Adventure again. - 5 Stars for Josh our tour guide at Tulum. We booked a half day for our family (9 total, 6 adults and 3 children). For less than $100 each, we were picked up from our resort, transported to Parque del Jaguar, guided through the ruins for about 2 hours, bought some gifts, and taken back to our resort. For our family (ages 9 to 70), a half day tour of the ruins only was perfect. Our guide Josh provided an excellent explanation of what we were seeing, how the Mayans lived, what the Conquistadors would have encountered, and answered all our questions about life in pre and post colonial Yucatán. He even had pictures on his tablet to reference for more details. Overall, we never felt unsafe, unsure, or unsettled. 10 out of 10, highly recommend. Would use Absolute Adventure again. Thank you to Josh for making our time in Mexico wonderful!

Tulum, Coba and cenote swims - Picked up from our accommodation early so we could get to Tulum before the crowds, on the way Alex the guide talked about the Mayan history and explained everything very clearly using pictures on his tablet. We were the first to arrive at Tulum so had the place to ourselves for awhile. As we walked around Alex explained each ruin. Was the same experience at Coba, but since Coba is a bigger site we rode around on bikes to get to each point a lot quicker. Both sites are different though as Tulum is coastal and has palm tress everywhere and Coba is in the middle of the jungle with trees growing over some of the ruins, so it was good to do both. We opted to do the cenote swims after visiting Coba to cool off which was also amazing. Barely anyone was at each one so practically had them to ourselves. I dropped my phone in one and it died on me so Alex and Enrique the driver offered to go to the shops while we were having lunch to get me a bag of rice. Thankfully it recovered and is working again! Thank you Alex and Enrique. In the van they also supplied water and sodas for the day.

Private Tulum and Coba tour with lunch - For anyone who isn’t wanting to visit a cenote, this tour is a great alternative. I highly recommend going early as there were only a few people around at the same time. We got great photos, unobstructed views of the ruins and the ocean and our guide Juan was able to spend more time explaining the history of Tulum and Coba without having to rush because of crowds. As soon as we left though, we passed by multiple bus loads of people just arriving so I’m so glad we came when we did. The lunch we had after Coba was delicious, fresh and so much flavour. A lot of food for one order that you could probably share with someone (unless you’re a big eater). Our driver Enrique was friendly and professional and our guide Juan (aka Banana) was the best. He kept us engaged with his humour, all the interesting facts about the sites and his friendly and outgoing personality. Perfect tour to end our trip!

Amazing Tulum-Cobá Ruins Tour - AMAZING tour with Enrique and Alex! A must do! My husband was in heaven talking history with Enrique. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything with visuals! We were in awe at the beauty of the ruins and everything Enrique taught us! My kids enjoyed bike riding through the ruins and I know they will remember this tour as one of their favorites. We loved it! Bravo Enrique and Alex!

Amazing Private Tour of Tulum and Cobá - This was an excellent private tour. We spent the day touring the Mayan ruins of Tulum and Cobá. Amazing tour and what was more cool is that it was a private tour with just the two of us, our tour guide and our driver. We learned a lot and since Alex, our tour guide was aware that we had studied history and watched several National Geographic programs on the Maya Civilization, therefore he gave us a more detailed and technical discussion of the varios sites, including connections between the maya and nahuatl languages. Lunch was also excellent. Highly recommended!

Worth every penny! - Phenomenal private tour - worth every penny! We did a private tour of the Tulum and Coba archeological sites with Arturo. He was a superb guide, very knowledgeable and passionate about Maya civilizations. We loved learning about the different architectural structures and styles, while taking in the incredible views at Tulum. This was one of the highlights of our recent trip. If you enjoy beautiful views, archeological sites and a fantastic tour guide, book this tour! And shoutout to our driver for two days, Omar! He provided safe, efficient and punctual transportation for us.

Great way to celebrate my 50th with my squad! - What a great way to celebrate my 50th birthday with my 5 closest friends. Our guide, Arturo, was fantastic. A wealth of information and quite entertaining. We met early to beat the crowds and we were always one step ahead of the big groups. A nice leisurely tour of Tulum before heading to Coba where we rode bikes through the jungle, before swimming in a cenote. As one of my friends said, we did a triathlon. As a group of active women, this was just our speed. I appreciate that Arturo was willing change things when I told him I wanted to find a sign with the name Nicte. Suddenly there was the perfect cenote we had to visit and so he adjusted the planned cenotes on our tour so I could take a picture with Nicte. Turned out that Nicte-Ha was stunning and the perfect end of our tour. Gracias Arturo and Rodrigo for helping make my 50th birthday trip one to remember.
