Fantastic place, very average operator - The place is spectacular, we saw turtles, dolphins and many other species of fish while snorkeling and birds during the boat tour. Very worth the Visit. The service was very average. We were picked up by bus with a 20' delay with no notice (we later discovered we were at 5' walking distance from the operators office...). The driver asked if we spoke English or Spanish. When the group unanimously said English, he continued speaking Spanish, but enouncing the one key Spanish word we needed to understand (ex. "Comida"). After 2 minutes upon departure we stopped at a random restaurant because the driver needed to buy his lunch. We stayed there for about 10 minutes waiting for him. Everyone on the bus was confused. During the boat tour we didn't really have a guide. The boat driver would say a quick phrase on what we were about to see, without really explaining much (ex. "Aquí hay cormoranes/ tortugas") but I wouldn't qualify that as a "guide". The food during lunch was ok. Also note that the 11 hours of tour are from the operators standpoint (not actual tour), meaning from the first pick up to the drop-off of the last customer. The actual tour (round-trip from the operators office to sian kan) is roughly 5-6 hours. You tend to spend 10-20 minutes in each place with a lot of time going from place to place on the boat (very relaxing!) Overall, highly recommend visiting sian kan, maybe with a better equipped or transparent tour operator (expectations are important)

Unreliable and disrespectful - Unreliable. They were not able to fill the tour so they cancelled the tour at 9:30pm the night before giving us zero time to make other arrangements to experience the park.
