Tulum cycling tour - Iber was a fantastic guide on this cycling trip to see the incredible Tulum Mayan archeological site, pueblo tour, bee keeping residence and cenote swim. His passion and knowledge for Mayan history was evident and he explained about each of the buildings, symbolism and beliefs of the Mayan people that once lived there. We set off early and beat most of the crowds. The tacos at buzzing Taquería Honorio were delicious and the tour of Tulum took in really interesting street art and points of interest. On our way to the cenote, we stopped at a boutique hotel to learn about their bee hives and meet some buzzy residents. We also got to try over 26 different honeys and went on to buy a few. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything and it didn’t feel commercial at all. The lady that looks after the bees was very friendly and happy to talk to us about the process and flavours. The cenote was a 20-25 minute cycle ride away in the jungle and was refreshing and very beautiful. Well worth the ride in the heat! As a family of four with two teens, we all loved the day and would definitely recommend. You must be comfortable riding a bike and have a certain level of fitness - the routes are easy but the terrain can be a bit bumpy at times on the way to and from the cenote! The bikes and helmets we used were well set up and comfortable.

A fun day out - Our Classic Tulum Bike Ride with Mexico Kan Tours was an absolute highlight of our trip, and it was all thanks to our amazing guide, Alondra! Her energy and enthusiasm were infectious—she kept the whole group engaged, informed, and entertained throughout the day. The itinerary was perfectly balanced: we visited a stunning cenote, explored the fascinating Tulum ruins, learned about bees at a local hive, and enjoyed a delicious lunch at a traditional taquería. Alondra’s knowledge of the area, the history, and the culture was fantastic, and she made sure everyone had a fun and safe experience. If you’re looking for a unique way to explore Tulum with a guide who is passionate, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun, I highly recommend Alondra and Mexico Kan Tours. It was an unforgettable day! 🚴‍♀️🌞

Nice excursion! - We made the visit with Alonso and we enjoyed it very much this morning through Tulum. We found him at the agency Mexico Kan Tours, we took possession of our equipment (bicycle + helmet) and we had a water bottle at our disposal. We started the tour by visiting the ruins. Alonso taught us a lot and the advantage of having a private guide who speaks your language is that we were able to exchange on many things, so as to get to know the country better, its uses and customs. We then stopped at a small local restaurant, far from the tourist influx, to taste Mexican specialties. The welcome was warm, the dishes tasty. He then took us to a French beekeeper, it was interesting. Then we ended with a Cenote. We didn’t know where we were going to land (we went off the beaten track). It was extremely refreshing and enjoyable with this heat! This bike tour was really nice and Alonso a great guide!

Wonderful biking tour of Tulum - Alonso was an amazing guide who took us to so many places! He taught us much about history of the ruins while there, brought us to a delicious local taqueria, then a honey tasting and finally to a serene cenote. It was raining and we made the most of the day, and he didn’t skip a beat! Biking through Tulum helped us see way more than we would have otherwise, and plus side you get a little workout! We would highly recommend this tour and specifically Alonso!!!

Great sights, good workout - Really friendly and laid back tour; great group of people. The ruins and tacos were amazing. Recommend it as a way to get the lay of the land a bit. Only comment is the cycling is way more intense than the writeup suggests. Rather than a slow, leisurely place taking in the sites and stopping frequently for water / photos, we were riding hard and fast to get lengthy distances from point A to B. One it got hot (midday) this was pretty challenging and at times I struggled with the pace (I don't cycle regularly). People who are regular cyclists and quite fit will be fine.
