We LOVED the cenote tour.... - We LOVED the cenote tour. Great fun guide. Wonderful lunch. Swimming with the turtles was fun, but probably could have been a bit shorter. The ruins were cool, but we were the only English speakers in our group, so we had to wait for an English tour group, and consequently lost our additional free time to explore the ruins and check out the shops.

The experience was... - The experience was organized. I would skip the tortiugas tour. The water was so murky. Was only able to see a few tortugas.

Loads of fun - This is our first time in Mexico so everything is very new to us. This experience was a lot of fun! Oscar and Fredrick (guide and driver) are the perfect team! My only complaints have nothing to do with them or the service they provided. My complaint, make sure that you coordinate your meeting place and how you will get there at least the day before. We thought they were picking us up at our hotel and found out that we had to take a taxi from hotel to meeting place at the last minute. The experience itself was fantastic, just make sure of prior travel arrangements.

Amazing experience! - This was a fantastic experience! The ruins were amazing and swimming in Akumal Bay and seeing the sea turtles was such a unique experience. Our favorite part though was going in the cenote. Oscar, who took us through the cenote, totally made the experience so special. Thank you!

Amazing Cenotes! - This was an amazing experience! Julio was a great guide! I loved going to 3 very different cenotes! One had the cave to explore, one good for jumping, and one that was like a river. Very awesome experience and highly recommend to anyone!

This is a must, Cristobal is they way to go! - Seemed a little expensive but was so worth it! Felt like three separate tours. Helps if you speak Spanish, but what doesn’t, even if you don’t they will still cater to you. Mayan ruins may not be as significant here as in Belize or Guatemala but still important to see, the turtles are just down right awesome and you don’t have to know how to swim to participate, lunch is good and there’s something for everyone, the cenote tour can be what ever you make it, a quick plunge or an in depth cave tour.

An experience, but wouldn’t do it again - The day tour in Tulum was… an experience. Our guide seemed to be on their own mysterious inner journey, communicating only when absolutely necessary and even then, just barely. A good portion of the day was spent waiting around, which we assume was part of the “authentic slow-living Tulum vibes.” The shared tour with multiple languages also added a unique touch, as everything had to be explained twice. Great if you enjoy hearing the same information in stereo, less great if you prefer to keep things moving. However, snorkeling with the turtles was enjoyable, even though the water had a slightly cloudy, vaguely seagrassy quality, as if the turtles and we had all shown up at the same time to moisturize. Still, seeing them up close was definitely the highlight. All in all, fun moments, but we wouldn’t repeat the shared multilingual group setup, and a bit more engagement from the guide would have gone a long way.
