Fantastic half day tour of the Tulum Ruins and Cenotes - Cristina and Omar were fantastic tour guides — knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Our group consisted of myself and four friends, and we had an amazing time. One of the best things about booking with Absolute Adventure is the flexibility. You can completely tailor the experience to your preferences. Want to explore the Tulum Ruins followed by snorkeling in one cenote? Two cenotes? Lunch included or not? You even get to choose which cenotes you’d like to visit. And if you’re unsure, you can wait until the morning of your tour to discuss options with your guides — which is exactly what we did. They picked us up right outside our accommodation in a comfortable, air-conditioned van — with working seat belts, which was a nice touch! On the way to the ruins, Cristina asked us a few questions to help choose the best cenotes for our group. The Tulum Ruins tour was smooth and informative. It was such a relief not to worry about entrance fees or logistics — everything was prearranged. Just a heads up: it’s hot and exposed out there. Cristina even gave us a choice between two walking routes — one more scenic but sunny, and the other shadier. We, of course, opted for the shade! After the ruins, we hopped back in the van (where cold water and sodas were waiting for us on ice) and headed to Parque Dos Ojos, home to both Cenote Nic Te Ha and Cenote Taak Bi Ha. Snorkeling in these two very different cenotes was the highlight of our day. Nic Te Ha is open-air, bright and green, filled with lilies and fish — the light reflecting through the water was stunning. In contrast, Taak Bi Ha is an underground cenote with stalactites, stalagmites, and even bats! We also saw divers heading into the cave system, which was super cool. Cristina joined us in the water at Taak Bi Ha, guiding us through the cave and pointing out interesting features along the way. We finished the day with lunch at a jungle-side restaurant near the cenotes. The food was delicious, drinks were available for purchase, and there was even a gift shop with some fun souvenirs. A huge thank you to Cristina, Omar, and Absolute Adventure for an unforgettable day. We absolutely loved it!

Tulum Sights and Two Cenotes - We had a great time with Christina and Jeremy! Saw the Tulum architectural sites. Christina was a great guide. She knew so much about the plants snd trees. She also did a great job teaching our group about the ruins. We then went to Dos Ojos and Taak bi Ha cenotes. Really amazing. Very different cenotes. Both beautiful. Again Christina was a great guide. Showing us all around the cenotes and teaching us about how they were formed. Great experience. Recommend Absolute, Christina and Jeremy to anyone looking for a private tour

Best private tour - We had an amazing trip today with our guide Joshua, and driver Ivan. Communication with the company was rapid, and they showed up right on time with a big clean van, and a cooler full of cold drinks. The day was fantastic, with an excellent tour of the Tulum ruins with Joshua, and a wonderful visit to two cenotes and then a delicious lunch. Joshua was a great host, giving lots of information and taking photos along the way, and Ivan was a very careful and friendly driver. We would 100% use this company again.

Fascinating experience at your own pace - We had an incredible private excursion exploring the Tulum ruins and snorkeling in the Dos Ojos cenote. The experience was both educational and fascinating, made even better by our guide, Juan. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable, sharing so much insight into Mayan history and the natural wonders of the area in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. We also appreciated how smoothly everything went, thanks to Juan and our driver, Kiki (I believe that’s what he was introduced as). They were perfectly coordinated - the van was always ready and waiting to pick us up when it was time to move on, which was a huge plus in the heat (definitely recommend starting the excursion as early in the morning as possible). Choosing the private tour over a shared group experience was absolutely worth it. We loved being able to move at our own pace, linger at spots that interested us, and never feel rushed. It made the whole day feel more relaxed and personalized. Highly recommend this excursion to anyone looking for a more intimate and enriching way to explore the Riviera Maya!

Great private tour for our family! - We had an amazing experience touring the Tulum Mayan ruins, swimming in a cenote, and having lunch. Juan was a very personable tour guide, and Omar was a great driver. It was well worth it to do the private tour, get to the ruins early with nearly no one there, and get pictures without crowds in the background. Snorkeling in the cenote was a neat experience as well. Juan really helped make the whole experience fun with his stories and insights--by the end of the half day together, he seemed more like an old friend of our family than a guide.

Breathtaking cenotes, Tulum and the best guide in the business - We couldn’t have had a better day and experience. With several companies to choose from, we chose Absolute Adventures because of how friendly and helpful Claire was in addition to all of the great reviews, which were 100% accurate. We consider ourselves incredibly lucky that our guide was Juan Jose and driver Omar. Juan was deeply knowledgeable and kind, and simply a cool dude. It was like we had been friends for years. His tour of Tulum was informative and fun, and he chose the perfect breathtaking cenotes for us to visit. Wonderful and beautiful natural attractions in Tulum and the cenotes + the best guide and driver there could be = a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget and can’t recommend highly enough!

Tulum Ruins , lagoon and cenote was amazing! - This trip was amazing with one of the best tour guides in the business “JJ” and his driver “Omar”! He got us to the Mayan Ruins before all the crowds and gave us the most in depth tour with a vast knowledge of the Mayan culture and history! We then went for a swim in a Lagoon and a cenote where he was there with us the whole step of the way! We then had a wonderful lunch in Akumal! What an excursion it was!

A fascinating tour and one of the best guides ever. - Excellent tour in every way. We took the complimentary ferry provided by Virgin Voyages from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen. Our guide Juan P was on time to pick us up at the Playa ferry port, and Omar, our driver, was ready a block away to start the tour. Tulum was, as expected, spectacular, all the more so with the engaging commentary provided by Juan. Besides the valuable information provided by Juan, he was very strategic in helping us avoid much of the line and finding shady places at Tulum to fill us in on what we were experiencing. The following snorkeling in a nearby Cenote was not only scenically fascinating but very refreshing after a fairly hot morning at Tulum. We then had a delicious lunch at a charming local restaurant.

Again, there are so many things to see in this region. - A very nice visit, early in the morning to avoid the crowds and the hot weather in Tulum and before the rush to discover two cenotes. Claire is a quality guide who knows Maya history and culture very well.
