Great experience - Pepe was a great tour guide. We were picked up promptly on time. The ruins are spectacular. It is very hot, so please plan accordingly with a hat and sunblock

Great for a quick trip. - This trip to Tulum was exactly as described - a ride to the ruins with a guide, who provided some information on the way, a tour with commentary by the guide when we arrived, and some free time to explore more and get a snack and/or do some shopping before heading back.

Perfect day trip to Tulum - The Great Ariel!!!! He was amazing, extremely knowledgeable about Mayan people, and culture. I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. I would recommend and I'd go again. It was perfect for a family outing. Don't let the line overwhelm you. It was very entertaining. Listen to Ariel. Don't bring too much with you. A little bag and money. A reusable bottle. A HAT!!!! That's all you need.

Tulum Tour - Easy booking process for Tulum Mayan ruins tour and was able to schedule a pickup from our hotel.. The day of the tour we were greeted in the hotel lobby, and boarded the van quickly. Note - we stayed at Valentín Imperial (further than most hotels) and had to make a few hotel stops. Travel time took a little over an hour. Overall, had a wonderful experience from start to finish! Highly recommend the Tulum tour (1/2 day).

Highly recommend private tour - My husband and I did a private tour today of Tulum, Miguel was our guide and Aaron was our driver. Miguel was extremely knowledgeable of the ruins, history of the Mayan culture, and the area. We even ran into the Cancun passion “professor” who trains the guides. He showed us pictures of the temple during the solstice. Very cool! I highly recommend this transfer company, Miguel, and Aaron. We felt very safe at all times. We will use them in the future for additional excursions. We traveled from hard rock riviera maya. It was about 35-40 minutes to tulum.

Tulum—nice area, great guide - The tour itself was really great. Our guide was so knowledgeable and easy to understand. Super nice guy! We were surprised with the $20 per person new tax before we could get on the van. That was not mentioned beforehand and it is a good thing we had cash. It’s a little disappointing that travelers in the past defaced the ruins because we couldn’t go past the roped off areas or see inside. That would’ve been great.

Could’ve been better- look at other options before this one - We booked the Tulum xpress excursion, which was supposed to be just the ruins, we were picked up about 45 min later than the original so they upgraded us to the excursion with the cenote and lunch.
The transport was great, it was only 7 of us in the group, 3 in my family and 2 other couples. The Guide gave us info at the ruins and gave us time for pictures. We left the ruins, dropped off one couple and proceeded to the cenote that’s when it went bad.
We arrived at the cenote, the passions Cancun guide told us where to go, and then said that there are guides that work there if we wanted and they would be grateful for a ti.
It was an underground cenote that you need to have a guide to go in. We saw other groups with a guide going in the cave, with snorkel gear and flashlight, we had nothing. No guide in the water, no snorkels. My husband was the one asking the people who worked there if we could borrow snorkels and one of the guides told us we could go in with his group. There was no cost, but we did tip the guide who took us in the cave.
The passions Cancun guide was back at the van.
The food was good, local food, tacos, with chicken or pork, but traveling with a picky eater, she had nothing to eat.

Not recommendend! - We were picked up from the hotel on time and the drive was fine. When we arrived, the guided tour lasted only 45 minutes instead of the advertised 2 hours, and afterwards we had just under an hour on our own. So we basically paid for an extra hour of tour that we never received. There was no time left to visit the beaches. Everything felt very rushed and the explanations were very brief. I do not recommend this tour at all. It was far too expensive for what we actually got. Instead of the stated 20 USD on-site fee, we even had to pay 30 USD per person, which we hadn’t planned for. Very disappointing.

Other tours are available…. - The trip felt very rushed. It is advertised as a 6 hour excursion, that six hours includes the travel time of the participants being collected first and dropped off last. Time at the ruins is two hours, one of those guided. The guide was delivering the tour in both Spanish and English, switching back and forth between the two. I found this made the information difficult to follow. Reading the information boards at the site was far more informative.

Archaeological tour - Travel agent changed the date and time on us. Secondly, the beach access was closed and they did not compensate that by showing anything else. They could have added little bit of tulum town that would have made the trip better. Guide was good and everything else was organized,
