Great service, private van, Ruins & Cenotes tour - We were very pleased with their service! They provided us with a private van for eight adults, and took us to the Mayan runs in Tulum, swimming at 4 Cenotes and a buffet taco lunch at Casa Tortuga, and then to see the Mother Earth statue south of Tulum â- all for $150 per person. (If you are in Cancun its cheaper without the private van)
We were picked up at 9am in a very nice van and the driver stayed with us all day until he brought us home at 6 PM. We spent as much time at each stop as we wanted, it was great! The driver even stopped at gas station so we could fill up our cooler with drinks for the day. Overall I would highly recommend MyCancunTours for everything from Cancun to Tulum and all areas in between.

Worth Every Dime - Worth every dime. Our pick up was in Cancun making it an early morning for us. The first 2.5-3 hours were picking up. They gave us a motning snack the a hot delicious lunch. Once in Tulum we saw the Giant Sculpture then Tulum Ruins, bring comfortable walking shoes tennis for this part as it's lots of rocks, gravel and walking, next was the cenotes swim, bring a water camera for videos and wear water shoes as more gravel walking, this was fun too and lastly Playa Del Carmen was shopping and tasty treats from food vendors..... Omar was our guide, he was funny. This was worth it!

Good trip - You have to be ready for a long day. The only thing I did not like that they do not do pick up at all of the resorts. We had to pay extra $100 for taxi to get to the pick up location and back. Also, the drop of time was around 9.30 pm, and after that we had to look for taxi with the kid and that was very uncomfortable. Other then that the trip was good.

Tulum, Giant Sculpture, Playa Del Carmen, and Cenotes. - Tour was great, but VERY long day. I was not prepared for the additional stop at Playa Del Carmen. Highlights were the stop to Cenotes and Sculpture for our group. We did not get back to the resort until 9 PM (departed the hotel at 7:10 AM). I would recommend tour to others.

Review - Nice trip but the trip got the whole day from 8am to 10pm, and most of the instructions by the tour guide was in Spanish.

Not Worth the Time Spent - This was the longest tour of our time in Mexico. We booked an English speaking tour and were met only with Spanish speaking tour guide. He asked us if we spoke Spanish and we said no. He said oh ok and then asked another tour guide if they had room in his bus on the first stop⊠which he didnât. Breakfast was a ham sandwich, an apple, and a juice box. The first stop was about 15 min (the statue) then we went to the ruins. If you want a tour guide there youâll have to pay because our tour guide didnât go in. The tour guide at the ruins was the best part of our trip. He was very thorough, answered questions, was knowledgeable, and friendly. We then went to the cenotes. The life jackets and lockers werenât included. We didnât swim. We hung out at the bar but the people we were on the bus with said our tour guide left them in the cenote. This stop was two hours. Lunch was about an hour as well in this little restaurant on a side street. We were able to choose our meals when we got on the bus and lunch was pretty good. We then went to a shopping hub which was an hour and fifteen minutes for souvenirs. We were picked up at 8 and we didnât get back to the hotel until 7:30. I would not recommend this tour.

Great attractions, tour operations could be better. - The attractions on this tour were wonderful, but we felt that the organized of the tour was a bit mismanaged. We had taken this tour during our honeymoon in tulum.
To arrive at our meeting point where the tour began, we had to take an $35 usd cab ride to a super market in el centro, just to be taken to our first attraction which was only .75 miles down the road from our hotel.
We feel like it wouldâve been ok for the tour operators to have us met them at the first attraction to save time and money.
The Second attraction was the TulĂșm ruins. It was wonderful, but it did feel a bit rushed as the bus parked a long way away from the ruins, therefore consuming a lot of time to walk to the bus to the ruins, and then again from the ruins to bus.
We then were taken about 10 minutes driving PASSED the third attraction to have lunch at another location. While lunch was included and delicious, we feel it would have been a much better use of our time if we were to spend more time at attraction and we could have lunch there.
Then we went to the cenotes, which were absolutely beautiful, and we could have spent a lot more time there than just the 2 hours that were allotted.
We will definitely be returning to the cenotes on another trip!

The Tour That Time Forgot! - The tour was a false advertisement. I can't believe this has a "badge of excellence" from Viator. Jesus, our tour guide, picked us up (4 people) from our hotel at 7:15 am; he told me the taxes were $5 per person, and my e-mail indicated $4 pp. I didn't argue, as it was at the beginning of our tour. I gave him $20.
The driver stopped at a location, and we waited for over an hour. Then, a group of people got in. There were more than 50 people on the bus. There were no explanations for why this was the case. On the bus, Jesus started collecting money for the taxes, and he charged the Mexican speakers only $4 for the taxes.
Another "tour guide," Sergio, introduced himself and said he and Jesus would be the tour guides. Sergio took the lead and asked how many English speakers there were, so only the four of us raised our hands; so much for an English Tour. For some reason, he spoke Spanish for the MAJORITY of the time. I had to use a translator app to understand what was happening.
Per the ticket information- what to expect: Tulum Archeological Site 45mins, Cenotes 2 hours, and (Mother Nature) Sculpture 1 hour. This iterinary was not followed.
Our first stop was Mother Nature - we were told to take a picture, one minute per person, and return to the vehicle. We waited and waited for the other people to show up. Sergio and Jesus needed to provide clear instructions and honor it. Everyone's time is important.
Our second stop was the Archeological Site at Tulum. We are again told to wait at this store, not knowing what's happening. It "seems" like we are waiting for the other people. Sergio walked us to the Archeological Site and told us to return to the meeting place at 1:45 pm. Once again, we waited and waited. We left the place at 2:30 pm , and then we had lunch.
The last stop was the four cenotes. It was supposed to be a 2-hour activity. Again, that didn't happen. We left the cenotes at 6:30 pm, and that should be it - the inconsistent and inconsiderate tour should be over - but no, the bus stop at Playa De Carmen, Sergio said, "return in 45 minutes to get a dessert." This tour wasted a lot of our time that we didn't sign up for. This tour is not what I bought.
We got dropped off at our hotel at 10:45 pm. Viator should check if this company is worthy of the "Badge of Excellence." the tour wasted our time; it wasn't an English Tour, and they overcharged us - all this inconvenience without explanation.

Fake Airbnb experience! - Never again! Airbnb, needs to crack down on tour companies using its platform to promote a false sense of an Airbnb experience. There were so many things terribly wrong with this âexperience.â Allow me to break down my experience as Follows:
ï I was told by Gabriel the driver was in my hotel lobby and he was looking for me, he wasnât. I was standing outside when the driver pulled up. FIRST RED flag.
ï I began receiving calls and text messages from Trip Advisor. Strange because I didnât book any Cancun tours with them. I messaged Gabriel and asked him what was going on and if this tour hosted by a tour company. He lied and asked me to ignore and block the calls and text messages from the tour company.
ï I reconfirmed with the tour guide, Christian about this tour, and he assured me that everything was okay. At that time, I received a called from tour company telling me that I have got on the wrong bus. I asked him to speak with the phone representative as I donât know what is going on (at this point, I lost interest in this tour).
ï I would not advise this experience to anyone, specifically a solo lady traveler.
About the tour:
< Once the Christian checked the attendance and collected the $15 dollars, he proceeded to hand everyone their lunch bag which included 1 of each sandwich, apple, juice box dessert cookie and breath mint.
< The first stop on this tour was the Tulum ruins. A few others and I were asked to join another tour guide (from another company) that spoke English. We arrived at this stop shortly after 11:20 am and needed to meet the bus no later than 12:30PM. Hence, were not able to conclude with the full ruins tour. This portion of the tour was super rushed.
< Next, we arrived at Muyil and saw another ruin/temple and then to a break for lunch. Respectfully, the lunch was the highlight of the entire âexperienceâ.
< WE DID NOT STOP AT ANY BEACHES!!!
Upon arrival to the Cenote, I took note that this Cenote looked NOTHING like what is pictured as being a part of this experience. Guests climbed down a âholeâ with over 80 steps to get to the water. I canât swim and only desired to take photos. The tour guide Christian insisted I should have some excitement and swim even though I mentioned to him I canât swim. He jokingly suggested that he should push me in the water. Not cool.
Lastly, we stopped at Playah de Carmen 7:30Pm, giving the group and hour to walk around. Upon return, the bus was nowhere to be found! I had to contact Gabriel to help me hunt this bus down. Totally not a great feeling at all.
At the end, the driver dropped me to the main entrance of the hotel security checkpoint. Christian (tour guide called me a cab to drive me the rest of the way to the hotel. Once I entered the cab, THAT DRIVER had the child lock on!
This was an Airbnb experience from hell! I will NEVER book this experience, and I will not recommend it to anyone else, particularly ladies traveling alone! This âexperienceâ lasted 15 damn hours!! Killed my entire day!
