Fun Day - Our guide was Mr. Chawki. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Mr. Chawki pointed out additional site along the way to help integrate more history and culture into our experience. Based on how the timing was going we were even able to spend a few minutes at the Roman Baths. I highly recommend this experience. Request Mr. Chawki if you can.

Great Tour - This was a fabulous day out. Really relaxed and intersting. We were picked up at our hotel on time, in a comfortable car. Excellent driver. We went to the museum first where we were given free time to expore we were there approx 2 hours. There was so much to view. We then drove on to Sidi B.S. again free time was an hour to walk around which was plenty and then we were taken to each of the sites at Carthage. Here we had as long as we required at each site, no pressure to rush.
Our driver had very good english and pointed out things of interest on the journey and day to day life in Tunisia.

Brilliant day out. - This tour is brilliant not only for seeing the beautiful sights in and around Tunis but also to learn about the history of Tunisia. My tour guide was very nice. friendly and very knowledgeable. I was given the choice of where I wanted to go and when, going through the destinations at my own pace then we went to a nice quiet restaurant with delicious Tunisian cuisine for lunch. I would recommend Didon tours and would join them for a tour again.

A great trip to learn the history of Tunisia - Our guide Baligh was extremely knowledgeable and spoke excellent English, he gave us a detailed history of Tunisia and the sites we visited all imparted with a good sense of humour. We particularly enjoyed the visit to Sidi Bou Said and the cafe where we had drinks.

History, Food, Photos, and Culture: Highly Recommend this tour - Our private tour with Fahmi our guide, and Bassim our driver was incredible. Fahmi is extremely knowledgeable, and was explaining History, geology, and latin, of Tunis and Carthage. He clearly structured his tours based on what we were interested in and took us to a number of very private places in the middle of Tunis for the best photos. He is also a great photographer himself.
Bassim was an excellent driver, and came an hour out of his way to pick us up from our hotel, his car is very clean, and he was also providing lots of information on the Tunisian countryside during the journey.
Please do this tour, I cannot recommend it enough, it was amazing.

Private tour from Hammamet with my mother-in-law (In Italian) - We couldn’t find an English or Italian-speaking TUI tour for the date we wanted (only French or Polish were available), so we decided to try a private option and booked with Didon Tours. Communication was super fast — they replied on WhatsApp within hours with all the details, which was really convenient.
The price was only slightly higher than a big group tour (around 20 euros:), but the experience was on another level. We were picked up right from our hotel in Hammamet by a clean, comfortable Suzuki with air conditioning. Our driver was calm and careful, and our guide Ammar met us at the hotel entrance.
Ammar looked like a university professor — very elegant, very knowledgeable, and his Italian was great. During the drive to Tunis, he told us many interesting things about Tunisia: history, education, traditions, and modern life.
Our first stop was the central Medina in Tunis. We walked along and then entered a huge covered market. Being two women with a local guide made the visit stress-free — nobody bothered us, and we could just enjoy the atmosphere. Ammar seemed to know everyone there; he’s clearly been doing this for decades. He showed us where gold, carpets, and oils were sold, introduced us to craftsmen, and even stopped by a workshop where we saw how traditional hats are made by hand. When we said we wanted to buy oils, he took us to a calm, beautiful shop where we could smell and choose what we liked.
After that, we headed towards Carthage and Sidi Bou Said, stopping first for lunch. The restaurant was nice — clearly a place used to hosting tourists (there were even some Americans from a cruise). Lunch was tasty, and Ammar handled all the logistics — we just sat and enjoyed our meal.
In Carthage, we visited the panoramic view of the ancient port, then the archaeological site with the Roman baths and museum — entrance tickets were already. Then we stopped at the ancient water reservoirs before heading to the Blue City, Sidi Bou Said.
Having our own car was a big advantage — the driver dropped us off at the top of the hill, so we could walk down at our own pace and enjoy the views. Ammar even bought us local doughnuts (thank you, Ammar!) and showed us a few good souvenir shops. My mother-in-law, who speaks Italian, was especially happy — she said it was one of the few times on our trip she understood everything perfectly.
The ride back was smooth and quick. Highly recommended)

Exploring Tunisia with a cultural expert….. - Chaouki was a great guide. He is a very knowledgeable man regarding history and even learned Latin in Rome! His energy was boundless in showing us his country and the sights we asked to see. He worked tirelessly to give us the time and space to appreciate the various sights we visited, answering questions with humour and perfect English! He was very hospitable in ensuring our comfort and suggested lots of good photo spots. The communication from this company was excellent. If you want to learn more about Tunisia, i would have no hesitation in recommending Chaouki!

Very interesting and fun tour. Organised and delivered as advertised - Very interesting tour with lots of appropriate information delivered in a friendly engaging way. Info on the history of Tunisia with great stops to reinforce and educate in a fun way. Included a very interesting lunch with extremely tasty local food. If not paying in dinar the guide provided helpful advice on how much to pay. Very knowledgeable guide and nice driver. A really great way to see the sights with a personal touch.

Good. Not great - Covered all the areas as mentioned in the description.
Timings not accurate - e.g. only spent 10min walking in Sidi Bou Said and drove for 10min through it.
Guide spent most time taking us to perfume shop and souvenir shop, I assume trying to get commission from sales
